So playing in the Cosmo all day with PT. Wild man....

First craps, guy does 6k each on 6 and 8 and 3500 field. Good thing I rolled an 11.

He does it again and I roll a 12. Now I know why he's Paytriple haha.

Then we go to Talon, lose at BJ, lose at baccarat, but win at roulette two 17,20s hit for about 50k

    After lunch ...to be continued

We always knew he likes to play the field with women. Makes perfect sense that this is how he plays craps too.

    Good luck to you both.

So after lunch we hit baccarat and lose some big bets, so now go back to roulette. 2nd roll in I decide to do 4K each on 17,20 for a minimum complete bet. Boom 17 comes...dealer has a brain freeze and pays me 40k and 120k; which is 4x what I should have been paid. Pit boss confirms the payout, and I'm saying go ahead and spin..., but at the last minute, the chip stacker dealer next to the roulette dealer speaks up, and I end up having to give back all the chips. Defiantly a downer after a 50k hit, but it was ok. Brought me back for the day.

If you notice a mistake, usually it's in your best interest to call their attention to it at the level you play, the reason being that surveillance is generally watching or will at least be reviewing your play. I was playing once at Monte Carlo of all places and the shift manager came up and said "about 2 hours ago we paid you on a $3,000 push. We can show you the tape if you'd like. Please give us the money back". I happened to be killing them at the time so I said OK, but if I were losing I would have been extremely pissed about this. I'm not sure what their legal recourse is, but one of the floormen walked me to the cage after I was done playing to verify the win and told me I probably saved the dealer's job by not making an issue out of it.

I doubt that Wynn or Cosmo would try to clawback an hours-old overpayment like that from you, but you never know. If it were for enough money they would probably give it a shot.

I guarantee the Wynn or Cosmo would demand an overpayment back like that. I had a 1K overpay at the Mirage and they wouldn't let me withdraw my front money until it was paid back.

If I read Nates post correctly, he was overpaid by more than 100k. I can't imagine that the casino wouldn't attempt to collect the money once they realized their mistake, regardless of how long it had been.

I witnessed this happen to a guy at my table who was playing RED chips at UTH at Ballys. Single red chips at that, so $15 on the table to start each hand. A couple suits showed up and referenced an overpay from x number of hands earlier, and said that they had to collect it. I want to say it was for like $20 or $25. My brother were playing a bit higher than him and were both up, so we each tossed him a couple 5s to cover it (he only had maybe $100 in front of him).

The eye in the sky must have caught it, the only reason I can think of that they were watching our table that closely is we were all loud and drunk, plus it was about 4 or 5 in the morning, probably not a whole lot else going on at ballys at that time!

Once the chips are in your possession, from a customer service perspective at my level, it is difficult to claw all of it back.

I know a Turkish guy at the Wynn that was overpaid on a session by 600k (his complete bets were not taken down after paid), he ended up giving back 200k or so.

Once you have it in your possession, you have a strong case to argue.

I know some people might think it is not ethical to keep overpaid chips, but I think that the casino screws you in so many other places that a little bonus here and there is good. I get overpaid a few times a year on craps but never to this extent.
