I'm going to be downtown for Nascar weekend March 10-12, anything special going on for the races? I know the Nugget has some kind of special giveaway thing going, but I'm not sure how it works. Anything else at any of the downtown casinos?
 
Not sure about DT, but
my buddy is attending something out at South Point.
I just called him to ask him what it is, but he's observing radio silence right now...:cool:

Fremont will be packed all weekend.
Yellow Brick Road plays Thursday night on the 1st street stage. Great rock cover band.
Free Night Ranger concert on Fremont Saturday night. On the 3rd street stage. It will be packed.
 
Thank you guys!! Going to watch the Night Ranger/Survivor concert on Saturday night, sounds like fun. I was looking for any type of extra promos that some of the downtown casinos may be running. I checked on the Golden Nugget one, it appears to be "virtual racing" not sure what that is, has anyone played that deal before?
 
Golden Gate has a promo where you can choose the winning driver for earning so many slot points. If your driver wins, you split the pot amongst all others who chose the winning driver. I won $175 in Freeplay in 2015 for picking the 4 car.

That sounds awesome, so earn points and then go to the slot club and pick your driver?
 
We will be there too. Kyle Busch meet and greet at M&M store on the strip Friday, Hauler parade on the strip Thursday. Brendan Gaughn meet and greet with Richard Childress at South Point Thursday I believe. I will post up more as I find them.

Kinda. They give you a ticket and you drop it in the driver's slot in a Lexan case that they lable.
 
Not downtown but I see South Point is having a big autograph signing Thursday night at 8. Austin and Ty Dillon, Ryan Newman, Brendan Gaughan, Menard, Brandon Jones, and Daniel Hemric.

Looks like a great promo at The D and Golden Gate with that pick the winner deal. Wish that I could get some more info on the Virtual Racing thing at the Nugget. My email from them doesn't say when it starts or how it works. Guess we will see. It also looks like there are meet and greets all over the place, I think that I would rather be playing!!
 
Found another, Thursday 6PM a meet and greet with Chase Elliot at Sam's Town.
 
I'll be at Southpoint on Thursday, and all weekend.

Couldn't give a crap less about NASCAR, it's just a coincidence. I'd rather get Brent Musburger's autograph
 
Keep me updated on the appearances. I wont be in town until Friday, staying at the Cal and then South Point Sat and Sun. Looks like I will miss nearly all the external driver appearances.
 
Jimmie is at NW LV lowes saturday, Chad Knaus at the Boulder Hwy one, both listed on Hendrick site. Usually Kyle Busch appears at the M&Ms store. I know he did last year.

Done deal. September race coming to Vegas. Truck and Xfinity races too. I guess somebody finally asked "hey does anybody know why we go to New Hampshire twice?".
