My best cocktail in Vegas was at the Encore lobby bar. Don't remember the name of the drink but it had champagne and raspberry liquor and fresh raspberries. Wonderful. The worst cocktail I've had in Vegas was the HUUUUGE .99c margarita at Westward Ho. We waited in line forever and bought 2 each cuz they were so cheap. Couldn't drink them. Terrible!!!

Best was the Ginger Grant at Sensi (now Harvest) in Bellagio. Worst was the Witch Doctor at the Rio's Voodoo Lounge. It wasn't terrible, just not great. Loved the rooftop club but the drink was rather meh.

I don't drink the specialty drinks (i leave that to my wife) on a hot day nothing beats a Loaded Landshark from Margaritaville. Beer and Island Lime Tequila I can taste it already.

I remember the Peach Bellini at Bellagio as excellent.

The worst may be a frozen Strawberry Daq at MSS.

Before being diagnosed with diabetes I used to love those yard long margaritas. Only place I've ever had a margarita was in Vegas. Now I just stick with whiskey and diet coke, or whiskey on the rocks, or just beer.

Lance at the sports book bar in Bellagio made me the best margarita rocks.

The worst is a tie, both on the same night. The bacon martini at the Double Down and, whatever it was, it wasn't a vodka cranberry at Olympic Gardens. :yuck:

Sex on the Beach at the Cromwell was excellent.

Years back at the IP, I had a Mai tai that I expected to be fruity, but was so strong it was undrinkable.

We found the back video poker bar by the sports book in Fremont and ordered the slushee machine margaritas. Even though they were comped, my wife and I each took a sip and pushed them back at the bartender. He said what do you expect, we sell those for ninety-nine cents.

Best was the scratch margarita at Wynn's place about three months after they opened. No flair but a lot of attention to detail. Shaker and strainer and beautiful crystal glass. I was very nervous about whether or not they would comp it because it was fourteen bucks at the time. Comped and delicious.

I forgot about the basil gimlets at Encore. Drank way too many one night at the old Switch bar.

Best wine in Vegas was actually 2 bottles of Charles Krug champagne at the Petrosian bar in Bellagio. Love that place.

I'm usually too cheap for cocktails (I'll pay 20$ for a burger, but not a cocktail, go figure)...BUT

BEST: "Flora and Fauna" at Cosmo, with "The Melody" minus agave at Todd English's Olives. It was off the menu for awhile (by request only) but its back.

Worst: was excited about trying a lemon drop on the casino floor...let down. But, well liquor though, what was I hoping for?

Second runner up....ok, not a cocktail, but I LOVE a decent red, and can handle a so-so red. Lately, it seems like all the comped reds on the casino floor, even in Aria etc. Are REALLY sweet. I'm now bringing my own wine while playing, kept in a discrete little foldable wine skin that fits in my purse. I still order water or diet coke so I don't bilk the waitresses, but so not a fan of sweet red wine:yuck::yuck::yuck:
