    First time staying there. I used to read about rickety elevators at the Fitz. Still the same? What floor were you on? Could you hear music outside at night?

    They used to have the slowest elevators. ever. They have upgraded and they are a lot faster now. We usually stay on the 17th floor and noise was not an issue, but then again, we were never in the room when the bands were playing.:rolleyes2:

    We were last there in February and a lot of the current changes were just beginning. Where they put the long bar~ that used to be all slot machines and it was all boarded over when we were there last, so it will be interesting to see what's new.

    My husband loves to play Blackjack, so if you see a guy that looks like he's been at the tables for a few days~ that would be him!
