    . . .on a $2000 investment (spend).

I decided to take this out of my TR since it really didn't belong there.

Let me be up front about this. Past performance is no indication of future results, and you may or may not get the results that I do.

Prior to the HGS distribution (announced Friday September 27), I was at VIP level 7. I had 22,000,000 Loyalty points, which enabled me to redeemeed 3M LPs for 500K HGS points for each of the two ballroom events. 500K HGS points equals about $1667 in free play. So, I willabout $3300 in Free Play. I plan to use this to "seed" my December trip to Asia.

With those loyalty points, I was able to redeem for
3 nights at MGM Cotai (Macau) with food credit (value $1000 USD)

In addition to to that, I received the following through "custom" comps (VIP level 7):
2 tickets to the "House of Dancing Waters" at City of Dreams (Macau) (value $200 USD)
2 buffet dinners at the Top of the Macau Tower (value $120 USD)

And I still have 13M LPs left to spend on April's Asia trip.

In April where I plan to go to Jeju Shinhwa World (casino spot on Jeju Island, South Korea, the Hawaii of Korea) and MGM Cotai (again) on Playstudios comps, as well as Resort World Genting, and

So, I would like share my Playstudios strategy with you.

This strategy may not apply to you, but for me it's doable,

    First of all,

1)I have $2000 E.I. (Expendable Income) to budget towards "spend" for comps

2)I have the time, and the equipment to play the Playstudios games pretty much 24/7

3)The places I am getting comped are places that I go to (or want to visit)

4)I'm traveling solo most of the times, which decreases travel costs

5)AFAIC (As Far As I'm Concerned) I have minimal (no) gambling requirement at any of the casinos that I'm comped at through Playstudios, because I consider that these are "pre-paid" comps

6)I live close enough that I can visit frequently and even for an "overnight" visit, like the Friends and Family event in October.

7)I spend $1000 to make VIP level 7, which entitles me to host privileges

8)I have strategies to maximize LPs for my $1000 purchase. Some times, it's pure luck, where I earned 2M LPs on a $20 purchase, sometimes it's a grind, where I ran myKonami for 24 hours to make 10M LPs. Both of these strategies were legal and withing the Playstudios rules. I verified with my host before starting the 24 hour run at myKonami.

9)I make Gold level at mLife every year to ensure that I can get some "comped" (pay resort fee) rooms. Note that the HGS promotion required a two night stay (exclusive of Playstudios comps)

Let me add that I "take care of my hosts" That's included in the $2000 "investment". I take them (my host and her boss, who was formerly my host) out to dinner 2-3 times a year, and will remember them this year at Christmas with gift cards.

So, that's MY strategy for Playstudios comps. For me, it's a matter of maximizing my spend (including gamblng losses), and I'm just not getting that from CET anymore.

A host can get you rewards that are considered "sold out", and hosts can book "custom" rewards. A host has (limited) visibility into future rewards, and developing a relationship, IMHO, is key to that. I consider that my host(s) at Playstudios have taken very good care of me for my "spend".

Now, there IS a downside to this strategy. Besides the financial commitment, there is also the scheduling and the "quirks" of Playstudios. Playstudios is notorious for scheduling their offers "late". This is why having a host is essential. As an example, the current Jeju Shinhwa World comp must be used by October 7th. I will not be sure of my exact dates of travel until December, so I can't buy now.

Thanks for listening to me "ramble". I hope that at least one of you readers can glean some information from this and put it to use.

I've been following all your MyVegas posts. Really appreciate the info! Just to confirm, are you saying that Level 7 will receive HGS points for this year in exchange for 3mil+ LPs without additional spend expected? In other words, if I were to "buy my way in" to Level 7 and stack 3 mil+ LPs would I be good to go? Or would I most likely need to purchase additional chip packages to qualify for the HGS offer?

I shouldn't have a problem getting a good deal on an mlife hotel stay to meet that requirement.

As I have detailed in the past . . . it costs about $1000 to go from level 1 to level 7. What rewards are you showing now, and do you have 3,000,000 LPs to redeem for 500K HGS points?

I will ask my host if level 7 is the only qualifying factor. Please wait for an answer before you start buying chips.

Also, be aware that rates for those two weekends specifically have been very high. I booked my comp weekends many months ago to ensure that I would have a reservation for those weekends. You are required to have a two night stay (myVegas comps are not allowed but mLife comps are) to qualify for the award. T&Cs follow

You are very thorough and perhaps indicative of you as a person. Competent post = competent person.

I'm currently at VIP level 4 with 470 MVP points. I have 26 days remaining to achieve level 5... which shouldn't be a problem. I know there is a huge gap past level 5 in order to get to level 6/7 and would plan on spending $700 - $1,000, depending on what deals I can find, to get there.

I'm sitting at about 1.8mil LP right now, which I scored with less than $10 of real money spend. I earned most of it in less than 24 hrs on the Facebook games. I should be able to hit at least 3 mil LP within a week if I go with the strategy of buying chip packages that offer high MVP payouts.

Thanks for checking with your host regarding details of the HGS offer!

I would make sure to find and secure a good deal on a hotel before buying chips, etc. That's definitely part of the equation!

    Cheers!

Looks like I can reserve Dec 8th and 9th for less than $40/nt. Do you know if both days of the reservation have to fall on a HGS date?
Dec 8th is HGS, but Dec 9th isn't.

OK, the "final word", and this may affect @norcal87 .

I was told that the ability to see certain rewards also depends on "life to date" (LTD) spend. LTD spend is a factor on what rewards a player is eligible to see. However, I wasn't given values to determine what a player would be eligible for. If a player is eligible, he/she would see the reward. This is why I asked, what, if any rewards is @norcal87 seeing?

LTD spend is a factor that is "new" to me. I always thought it was YTD, or PTD (Period to Date) spend. I have been playing myVegas for many years, and have had a host since sometime in my first year of play. (Note: I went and looked through my old emails. I have had a host since 6/2013, but my LTD is probably very high.)

So, depending on what @norcal87 is seeing for awards, I would be very careful about going "all in" for 2019 HGS.

Sorry, not the best answer, but even I have my limitations to what I can know about Playstudio's operations.

Thank you @DaiLun for looking into that for me!

Here are the rewards I currently have available for 200k+ LP

I also have some $50 free play rewards (requiring 2 night stay) and in the past I've seen $25 Konami free play rewards (not requiring stays). I've mostly been using LPs for free nights at MGM Signature Suites so far... but now that I have nearly 2 mil LPs, it might be worth spending a little more on tokens to see what opens up. Unless a host can do a custom HGS package upon reaching level 7, I don't think I'll go that route. My lifetime spending (though I've been using the app for 3+ years) is less than $10.

I wish I could make it to the event on the 24th, but heading off to Hawaii the next day for a wedding - so I don't think my wife will let that fly! :blah:

Might hold on to a tentative reservation during HGS just in case something crazy happens... I also have the Mlife credit card which earns HGS points, so might show up anyway.

To be completely honest, if you're not seeing ANY HGS rewards now, I would not start spending now in the hopes of seeing the lowest one (@vegas superfan got 50,000 HGS points for 300K LPs. Not sure of their level though.)

We should poll to see if anyone is seeing "just" the lowest level HGS award and if they could share with us their approximate lifetime spend.

I wish that I could find out what the minimum lifetime spend would be to see the HGS awards, but even I have my limitations.

I have spent approximately eleventy billion dollars. I don't know the exact number, and I do not want to know the exact number. But I have had six rewards for a few years now, and did not stop spending when I hit it.

For those that participated in last weekend's HGS, when did the HGS points show up in your mLife account?
