Tomorrow marks eight weeks till I'm back in Las Vegas. It'll be my 15th trip. Here are my current plans for eating & evening entertainment (for some nights) if anyone is interested for a 'Get Together',

    May 15, Monday
Breakfast: Wicked Spoon. At the Cosmopolitan.
Dinner: Nacho Daddy at Miracle Mile
    Fremont Street Experience

    May16, Tuesday
    Breakfast: Luxor Buffet
Dinner: Planet Hollywood. The restaurant inside the Forum Shops.

    May 17, Wednesday
    Breakfast: Bellagio Buffet
Dinner: Slice of Vegas. At Mandalay Bay.
    Show: Britney Spears

    May 18, Thursday
    Breakfast: Cravings Buffet. At Mirage.
Dinner: Shake Shack. At New York New York

    May 19, Friday
    Breakfast: Flavors Buffet. At Harrah's
    Going home day
    -----

This will be my first trip in a very long time that all my dinners will be at all new restaurants. No carryovers from previous trips. Prime example is the restaurant inside the Hooters Casino. I've been going there since my second trip (April 2010). This will be my first trip that I will not be going to the Bacchanal Buffet since it opened. $40 for breakfast is just too much, even for a big eater like me. It's a possibility that I'll see X Country Tuesday night at Harrah's. It's very much up in the air right now. Britney's show will cost close to $200. I went to two shows back in December. I might end up leaving Tuesday & Thursday nights open so I can putz around the Strip taking pictures. I'm an amateur photo nut.

Do you have any plans yet for the Monday? From my side of things, the best bet would be in the evening. Dinner at Nacho Daddy or the Fremont Street Experience after that.
    -----

I did make it official for my Wednesday night entertainment. On Thursday I bought a ticket to see Britney Spears. I'll be standing in the Left Golden Circle, next to the stage. Up close & personal. This will be my third year in a row seeing Britney. Same section each time. I'll take pictures & videos like I normally do so I can have something to show for my Trip Report.

    Hope this helps.

Go to Restaurant.com and you can get a $25.00 certificate for $10.00 with a minimum purchase of $37.50 at the restaurant.

I'll be in town from the 14th-19th. The evening of the 15th sounds like a happening thing. I'd gladly join a get-together at Nacho Daddy, or later downtown.

I imagine I'll get to Nacho Daddy around 6pm. Try to get to Fremont before 9pm. I think I'll be wearing an orange Astros hat. I'm short, heavy, wear glasses.

Awesome. I'll put Nacho Daddy on the schedule for 6 on Monday. I'll probably come straight from the convention I'm attending at MGM, most likely in a gray suit. I'm medium height, greying dark hair, light build, glasses. I'll see if I can figure out how to send you a PM here with my cell number (forum controls seem to have changed a bit since I was last active here).

Just printed my boarding pass for my Southwest flight for tomorrow morning. To my surprise, my flight is one of six Houston to Las Vegas (out of 17) that hasn't sold out. Second cheapest. I'm guessing that means my flight won't be a full plane.

I'm thinking about maybe trying to go to the bikini contest at Senor Frogs inside Treasure Island on Thursday. I'm not sure I'll be willing to pay the price. It's at least a $55 cover charge (access to an open bar is included). I'm guessing the money is to help pay for the contest winnings & the open bar. I'll have to wait to see how much money I've spent by the time the contest has started.

X Country was cool the last time I saw it. Not real expensive and not a big room. I would recommend it.
