.......claiming they can't deliver at my address.
#1 = I've had my new health Insurance ID cards "held up" by being sent
    back to my employer.
That took a bunch of phone calls + time to straighten out.
#2 = My car Insurance people sent me an e-mail asking where I moved ?
#3 = I had a plumbing biller tell me at her office "I sent you bills but they keep coming back."
    "I won't charge you a late fee....this time."
#4 = .........and this is only the stuff I KNOW ABOUT.

I had a different problem last week. AT&T send me a bill (uverse) for two months with a penalty for a check they never received for July. I stopped payment on the check and paid the bill minus penalty. The later AT&T (mobile) sent me a bill for two months as apparently I never got the July bill for that service. They also accepted a payment minus penalty due to a good record with them. I was wondering if somebody was lifting things from my mailbox.

I talked to my retired postal buddy and he said in his day mail returned had to have a reason on it to alert the sender why it was not delivered. The carrier on the route either stampted or wrote the reason for return. He said to try calling them on the phone first ask for the delivery supervisor for your route if possible.

This summer we have a new delivery person on our rural route. At least once a week we get the mail intended for our neighbors about a mile away, and they get our mail. On the nights that this happens we walk down to swap the mail. Nothing has gotten lost in the shuffle (that we know of), but we've sure learned a lot about the neighbors this summer just from the envelopes and magazines addressed to them!

Our mailman must think we are a couple of gambling degenerates with all the mailers we both get. Oh wait, we are!
