My Losing Week: Jan 12-19

East of Rhinelander.

I had always had a coffee pot in my Burgundy rooms in the past, so was surprised when I did not see one this trip. I have individual packets (not k cups) and did not pack enough. There is a washable filter in the single cupper I pack, but just a pain to wash it out between cups.

 

Shareholders will be celebrating when the savings from the removal of coffee makers results in a 1st Q earnings jump! Maybe time to scoop up some stock before this news hits Wall Street!

I'm sorry for the losing, but it does sound like you enjoyed the trip.
Nice to read about someone else who goes to mass when traveling. I've never been in LV on a Sunday. This trip, I'm going to try to catch a daily mass.

 

miss_sonja: There is a Catholic church a few blocks from Golden Nugget downtown that I have attended. There seems to be lots of rituals there, and I have some difficulty understanding the priests. There is one near Mandalay Bay that I have not been to. Guardian Angel has always seemed to welcome me. I find the time spent there kind of "resets" me, and gets my focus on my blessings vs the "Vegas" life which I can get swept into. As I am usually solo, it's just a brief time out of my day, but keeps me focused on what's important to me. Enjoy your trip!
