I play online casino today for about 3 hours and got my first royal flush (which I never anticipated). It's only a small win of $200, but quite "satisfying" It has been a good day for me as I got 6 four of a kind and one Royal Flush
Hi everyone, I just got my 2nd royal flush today (playing online casino). This time it is a diamond. I have never even gotten a royal flush playing practice apps, but somehow I got 2 royal flush within one week when I decided to play for real money . I'm still in search for my first royal flush at a brick and mortar casino though
Just keep getting royals. You'll be underwhelmed by straight flushes. I have close to the expected ratio. In the last 5.5 years, I have 31 Straight Flushes. Definitely each one of my 7 Royals in the same time frame was much more exciting.
Very true! My last three straight flushes have had an Ace in them, but only one had any "Royalty" in them.
I did not double up on anything. Sorry, what exactly is double up? I'm a newbie to gambling. Last night I also got two more straight flush and one of them is a King high, OUCH
I think they come in waves. My best estimate is it took me over 100,000 hands for my first. Then had another dry spell for about 5 years when I wasn't playing much before hitting one on quarters at my local boat. Then about 30,000 hands later I hit at the .50 level, and since then in my last 60,000-70,000 hands I've hit 3. Two at dollar level, one at $5 level which is way above my normal play but I was playing with some profits. The biggest one was with two held. I'm sure plenty more are coming your way.
"Double up" is where you can gamble your winnings on a 50/50 game. For video poker in casinos, they usually give you a card from the deck face up which you need to beat to "double up". There will be 4 face down cards for you to choose from. Get a higher rank, you double your winnings. Get a lower rank, you lose your winnings. Same rank is a push.
This is my 3rd royal flush. Switching to penny 10-play, I thought I would have gotten the royal flush easier than playing single line. Nope, I was down to 2 royals and the last play before I decided to turn off my computer then I hit this. Since my 2nd royal I had so many near hits of 4 to a royals.
