I just hit my first royal for quarters! Playing 9/6 JoB STP at Gold Coast... About 2500 hands in. I was working on grinding out my Sapphire card, and I nearly skipped right on to the next hand. Now I can slow down and enjoy the rest of the trip!

Congrats! I'm still waiting on my first at quarters or higher. I've gotten two on the same hand on a 10 play machine, but it was only nickels.

Well done! My one and only royal (with cheese) was in diamonds.

After all the times you hit the draw button, needing only one card to fill your royal, isn't it amazing to draw three cards to fill it? It just goes to show that royals come when they're least expected.

    Congratulations!

And in many cases, that next one is right around the corner after your first one. Hope that happens to you. Congrats.

I've hit a few Royals in my time. The hand that still amazes me is filling in the Royal holding only the Ace. Done that 3 times....all quarters and one a progressive.

    Thanks everybody!

Time to switch off the turbo button and go to 1 line. That's the closest thing to quitting while I'm ahead I can do.

Tomorrow is 4x points day, so if I can get one of the STP machines, I may be tempted to go back to 3 handed.

Congratulations! Seeing a Royal always makes me smile, even if it's not mine.

Too bad STP wasn't activated on that hand. Either way, congratulations on the royal!

Scot: Congrats on your first royal. It really is awesome to see those cards lined up. Too bad you didn't have a multiplier. Now go get another one!

Congratulations, Scot! What a great feeling that is (especially the first time). I'm hoping to score one (or 2 or 3) next week when we come into town. It's been quite a dry spell lately as far as royals go ~ fingers crossed!!

It was indeed! I just hit another one on the same machine. Dealt 4 to a royal and hit it on the top line!!! On my 50th hand of the morning!

    Picture to follow.

:peace: Awesome! Congrats. Hope you hit quad royals! Two more, two more  How sweet it would be to have one of those 10-12 times multipliers, yes it is a greedy thought, but an oh soooo sweet thought! Congrats again

Now THAT's what I'm talk'n about. So many times it happens that way. Another right after the first or 2 reasonably close together after a long dry spell. Way to go, Scot.
