    My ex wife, who lives here in Vegas, is a former longtime nurse (LPN) who is out of work and in serious need of a job. It doesn't have to be in healthcare. She was getting unemployment benefits but they ran out.

    She could do any of the following:

    * receptionist
    * front office
    * home care or senior care
    * private investigations (besides her nursing degree she has a Bachelor's in criminal justice)
    * or just about anything else

    She would prefer full time but I believe she's also open to part time, just to get some income.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    She seems multi talented so maybe a casino would consider her for a position with substance if she can present a resume highlighting her knowledge, skills etc in a way to benefit the casino/hotel.

    I thought there was a hiring demand for nurses? I would guess if that is the case she should have no problem getting another LPN position. Maybe relocate?

    LPNs aren't in demand in demand but I was under the impression that there was a lot of demand for people in healthcare in Vegas.

    +1 ....:nworthy:

    If she's hot I'd guess somebody escorting in LV would make a helluva lot more $$ than anywhere else in the states. Well....maybe LA and NY would be a good spot too. But then if she was that hot, I suppose she wouldn't be an ex:poke:

    I've talked to a few ladies while in LV that have degrees in teaching, nursing, etc... and end up going where the $$$$ is.

    Seriously though, I know it sounds a little out there but I'm knocking on the door of 60 and that old saying of "sometimes you just gotta say what the fuck" is ringing truer everyday.:peace:

    Well I think it's safe to say Cosmo was sufficiently scared off by some of these replies.
