Your dad had real fulfilling life, and was a wonderful husband and father. I also had to take a test on the USGA rules of golf once. Lol

Hope your family is doing their best in adjusting for his sudden loss.

I'm very sorry sonya, lost my mother in july, I found that going through her things/pictures/letters, etc, while very sad, was a tremendous source of forgotten memories.

Thank you do much for sharing such amazing memories about your father Sonya.

Your father sounds like an incredible man. He had a bootstrap work ethic, doing whatever it took to give you all a good life, he built amazing memories (from working with nasa in his company, to traveling the world, to his insatiable quest for knowledge/PhD), to devising specific mathmatical golf systems (who does that!) to knowing he could look anyone eye-to-eye as an equal (loved the reo speedway story on his quip about the poster you had on your wall), yet he still remained down to earth and a remarkable person.

Your father was an incredible, special, brilliant man, and even with all of his incredible successes, I would bet money you were one of his greatest joys.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your mom and your family Sonya.
