Big hugs Flowers. Lifting up you and your family and praying that being together in a place cherished by your loved ones will bring all of you joy and comfort. Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season.

@Flowers very Sad to hear about your brother. I know he was out in Vegas for many MM games. We had some fun back and forth with his Gtown team. I know you had a tough year hang in there and God bless you. You may have to do a MM trip and let him guide you on a good parley ticket. Stay well.

Blessings to you and your family.....so much to try and absorb! As my parents passed within months of each other, i can only say "do one day at a time". 7 years later, and the holidays are still tough. Take care of yourself, and mourn as you need to....

I am so very, very sorry for your loss. These kinds of losses are difficult at any time, but to lose two of the most dear people in your life in the same year is unimaginable. Prayers to you and your family, and I hope you find some comfort in your treasured memories of your brother.

So sorry for your loss @Flowers I love way your entire family does Vegas. Such a rough year, you deserve to hit the Megabucks progressive on your upcoming trip

While I never had the pleasure of meeting your Mother, I did get to meet your brother for a few minutes at the dice table at Wynn a handful of years ago. It was readily apparent that you both are cut from the same cloth, a very good thing, and I wish I could have hung out with him for a bit, but the table was heating up so I let him get down to business.

So sorry for your losses, and all the upheaval in such a short time frame. As others here have said, remember the good times and take solace in knowing you’ve got a wealth of friends and loved ones here.

All my best to you and yours this holiday season!!

  • What a trip!!! World Cup & USA’s 250th Fourth of July at Fontainebleau
Sorry for your loss. Never met him but I remember 'Champster's' posts from all the way back in the Las Vegas Advisor Forums. days. I always envisioned him as a guy who worked hard, loved to plan his Vegas trips and was fun person to be around.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, as well as your mom. My sincere condolences. I also lost a number of close family members over the years including both parents and my older brother. Needless to say, it's always difficult coping when you lose a love one. Time helps, but I still miss my folks and brother, especially around the holidays.

It's also good to hear that you're going to Vegas with some family and friends to celebrate the memory of your brother who also loved Vegas.

I am so sorry for your loss. I want to share that the very best send off to a loved one was when family joined me in Vegas to spread my mother's ashes. We put that trip off for many months, and that was the right thing to do.

I’m so sorry for your loss @Flowers

I hope you find strength and courage in the many small things and memories that you no doubt still have.

Life can be harsh, losing two loved ones in such a short time.

All the best, to you and your family and friends, and to those loved ones we unfortunately lost…

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Clearly, you and your brother were very close. This upcoming trip is a wonderful way to celebrate him, even though it will be bittersweet.

I am so sorry for your loss, Flowers. Keeping you and the family in my prayers.

  • Trip 26: A very Vegas Christmas
  • Trip 27: Nothing says romance like a trip to Vegas
A sad year for you, Flowers. I know your brother loved Vegas and we came to know him (as well as Mama Flowers) through your trip reports. One thing I remember is that he loved his steak but wasn't willing to give up his shorts in favor of big boy pants to comply with some of the snootier dress codes. Your December visit will be a bittersweet one for all of you, with so many memories of the good times.
