Really enjoying your report. Great pics, although not a good report to read when you are dieting for your own upcoming trip :).

Agree totally. Having experimented at many buffets over the years, never, ever eat at a buffet for dinner. Breakfast or lunch/brunch is fine.

@Grant1982 - I noticed in the pics throughout this fine TR that you really eat a LOT of fresh veggies - good on you...o_O o_O

Love seeing those VP wins keep going!

Now I see the veggies :D Love the ‘red meat veggies’ reference, lol.
Hope ya know I was just funning you, plus at buffet prices these days, I get my moneys worth on the meats too.

WHY do people sit at a 100 hand machine and play 1 hand, for 1 credit, for 1 penny at a time? Congrats dude for making my trip report!

Afternoon snack at Pizza Rock, I am blown away that I cant order a single slice of Pizza. Anyways, I got a baked Calzone, buddy got a fried Calzone, here's half of each...not bad, but wish I could have tried their pizza without ordering an entire pie.

Ok ok, I admit...I swore off Downtown Grand when I learned they were not giving points for any VP. But.....but...but....they have full pay, at the bar, progressive! Ok, I'm going back to the room to get some money Downtown Grand, I'll see you in a bit!

I'm just now reading about the MSS scratch cards. Have you scratched them yet? Thanks for Wynn buffet photos. Meat even looked dry in photos.

Ok Downtown Grand, you gave me full pay at the bar, but you you did an awesome job tempting me with STP, and I fell for it, hook line and sinker. You even let me win a $50 free play drawing, however all said and done, you took $800 from me :(

I liked DTG when they first opened, stayed there a couple of times and had a great time winning in their high limit room at BJ, but now the place doesn’t do it for me AT ALL, sorry they got you. Great pictures thanks

Made it back to MSS and lost some, won some, lost some more, won some more. Canceled the reservation for Redwood at 8pm because we were still too full to think about eating, even if it is free. Of course here we are two hours later sitting down at Nacho Daddy again.

Total balance - down $1300, and likely to go home that way.

Decided to take one more shot at VP before I checked out, lost $200 playing Dream Card at $25 per pull. Now it's time for Sterling Brunch.

Sterling Brunch was fine, I think I am getting a bit burned out on it though, having it after I have such amazing meals all week doesn't help either.

I was stuffed after that, not my most proud moment eating, but I just cant eat much in the morning.

Well here it is, an end to my August 2019 vacation and an end to my trip report. I especially enjoyed this trip. I feel like I didnt waste much time, ate great food, and didnt lose too much money. I was also glad I got to cross the Grand Canyon off of my bucket list. Little fact....in a time when most airports are removing the few remaining smoking lounges, good ole Mccaran adds one to the A terminal! Yay! I have enjoyed recapping everything for you guys and gals, this certainly wont be my last, and I look forward to reading trip reports from others.

    Final balance : down $1500.
