    Hi all,

I played at MSS a little bit last time I was in town and signed up for BConnected. Yesterday I logged into my BConnected account for the first time and it said there was a 2 night comp available which I booked for my trip in May. It mentioned something about a mailer - do you also have to show a mailer with the offer upon check in? I haven't received anything that I'm aware of and I don't want to show up without the mailer and be denied the room (if it's required). Thanks.

Mailers usually show up a week or two after offers appear on BConnected. As long as you booked online, and I presume received a confirmation number and/or email, you're good to go. I've never had to show the mailer. You can confirm on the BConnected website under Tools/My Reservations.

I haven't been asked for hardcopy/mailer once in over 20 years... but I have been taking them with me every-time... I'm just waiting for them to ask... Oh yea I'll have to dig through my suitcase but still... I'm ready!

So in other words... nah, I would not worry about it... just get a confirmation number and put it your cell phone notes. But seriously... I have never been asked?

Definitely not MSS. I've stayed at all seven Boyd/Coast properties (not counting the recent additions) many, many times and have never been asked to show the mailer. I don't even bring them anymore; but I do pack printouts of my reservations and confirmations … just in case.

When checking via the TV on at least two occasions, I noticed room charges. Grabbing the printouts I went down to the front desk prepared for battle, but in all instances, the mistake was quickly corrected with an apology and the printout wasn't needed. (Of course, if you have it you won't need it and probably vice versa. :))

I usually get 3 nights comped at MSS with either $10-25 free slot or $20-40 food credit. I've never needed the mailer for booking the rooms (just need the offer code from either the mailer or your B-connected account). They usually ask for the mailer at the players club desk for the slot play or food credit. Last time I did not have it with me and was able to pull up my B-connected account on my phone and give them the offer code. That was good enough for them to add the free play to my card.
