Mr. Jones is Bound for Vegas!

We usually get to Las Vegas twice a year. Once in the early summer when rates are really low. And, again in late December when rates are low. In December 2006 I was out there with a buddy and spent two of the 4 days in bed and the fancy bathrooms at GVR and Red Rock 'cause of food poisioning! No bueno por nada! This summer I'm headed out to my favorite play ground 3 times at least.

May 15 - 17 I'm headed out with a buddy who loves Vegas but hasn't been able to swing a trip in two years. We'll enjoy a comped room at Imperial Palace the first night and then move out to Red Rock for a comped room the last two nights.

In June my beautiful wife and I are Vegas bound for an 8 night stay. Free rooms for two nights each at GVR, Red Rock, Bally's and then two nights at Aladdin/Planet Hollywood with a great deal on a suite for which I'll pay $150 total. Averaging the cost of the Aladdin suite with the others nights means I'll spend eight nights in Vegas at a cost of less than $20 per.

In July we'll be on a Western Swing with friends visiting from Germany. There will be 3 nights at El Monte Sagrado in Taos, NM. 2 nights in Vegas, probably in a suite at Wynn and then two nights on the rim of the Grand Canyon at Mawsik Lodge.

Lots of travel for me the next few months and lots of Vegas in the Mix. Mr Jones may take the edge off his jones for awhile.

Change of Plans

Well the trip in July had a minor change of plan. We will not be staying in a suite at Wynn. I got an email offer from Bellagio with some really good rates. So we've booked a couple of Bellagio Suites at $299.00 a night. The usual rack rate on these puppies is a whole bunch more. Life is sweet.
