Well, I have finally had it in my current state of affairs, relationship is off and on again, not healthy and turned 40 recently.

Having said that, I listed my house for sale and am moving to Vegas. I actually have put in for a transfer within our company to a property there and will be moving as soon as my home sells, hopefully before the winter sets in here.

Some think I am crazy, others are excited for me, honestly I am a bit scared but excited as well. Plan is to pay one year rent in advance wherever I move and bank the rest of the money. Not buying a house there due to credit issues but will have a decent place to live.

Awesome and good luck to you! I'm also making the move and building a house in Vegas.

Do you know what areas you are looking at? Also, i'm making the assumption it is just you so you probably won't be looking for something too big.

It will be me and my soon to be 18 year old son so I will be getting 2 bedroom. Looking either Summerlin or Henderson but have looked at several online that are in my budget that looks rather nice.

Good luck to you and I hope the weather there will help your health. My sister in law didn't feel here bad knees from the day she got there to after they left.

From what I've seen 2bed units in nice communities are available in the $1,000 range.

Wishing you the best of luck on your move to Vegas.

Henderson has some nice apts. South Valley Ranch being one of the properties that we considered, when we were debating on moving to Vegas.

Good luck, we are eventually going to work our way there from SW Florida flipping houses along the way, hope to wind up in Vegas within 10-12 years

Somewhat off-topic, but I have noticed that my knees and back are not angry when I am in Las Vegas. Only when I am in more humid climates do they get angry. I live in Georgia, so reaaaally look forward to my Las Vegas trips for the respite.
