Most insulting/silly offer you've gotten?

I thought this would be a fun topic, although obviously the offers a person would find insulting will vary greatly depending on their play.

I am a low roller and poker player, so don't expect much. CET spoils me with the comps (except for resort fee) I get from their Calendar.

But MLIFE is a bit funny. Aria and Mirage basically do the same thing for me (at best casino rate) in their offers, but Aria is way better at selling it.

    What the Aria message says:

Subject line: Don't miss this great offer, blah blah blah

Details: Rates from $xxx , occasionaly with throw-ins like resort credit if the rate is higher.

    What the Mirage message says:

Subject line: Don't miss this great offer, blah blah blah

    Details: Best rates available.

Yep. That is the whole offer. Best rates available. Doesn't everyone get that? It makes me chuckle when I get it because it has the same breathless subject line as the people getting comps and freeplay.

Then I open it up and they are all Michael Corleone on me:

"Our offer is this: nothing. Not even the fee for the resort which we would appreciate if you put up personally:"

Again, don't really expect anything from them. Just astounded MLIFE would bother sending that out to players. If I'm worth nothing, don't email me lol.

Reminds me, I got offered a free pie from Harrah's Southern Indiana I think it was. Well worth the 10 hour drive to a place I've never been.

It wasn't an offer I received, but I was looking at smartervegas in 2015 for room discounts and I saw one for Bellagio. My co-worker was going to move to Bellagio for the weekend after our company paid rooms at NYNY ended so I showed it to him. He looked at the deal from smartervegas and compared it to the price just by going to Bellagio's website and smartervegas was directing us to a deal that was more than the basic fare.

You know how Caesar's is always sending those offers for
Coach purses, Gucci bags etc. Well - one time MGM offered
me a free key chain with a lion head on it if I would stay at
their resort for 2 or more days!! And they said I'd get "rack rate" LOL.

Horseshoe Southern Indiana (CET) would send me free play offers for $5 barely even cover the gas to get there plus I normally play 2 Deck BJ and the minimum is $25.

It's a matter of wording, and I think they cleaned it up, but if a date was blacked out to you in MLife, it didn't say "This offer is unavailable for the selected dates," it said "This offer is unavailable to you," which sounds a lot more personal.

I stopped getting offers from Boyd after a year of not taking them up on any teasers, but the throw-ins were, not really insulting, but $15 freeplay or $10 dining credit, c'mon.

The El Cortez once sent me a coupons to get a tiny bottle (think like you get on a plane) of booze and an ice cream bar. That's the strangest thing I've ever gotten. Mlife does send me those crazy best rates available emails too.

There's a 7-11 in town that mails me $5 per week in free play......but get this, they require me to come in and play twice in that week to earn the $5. So it's essentially $2.50 freee play per visit. No thank you.

Generally if they offer me (stuff), that I have plenty of. It is a no. Offers of rooms and massive freeplay, at least $500 before I leave IA. I have seen an obscene amount of greed since my 1st introduction and love of Viva in 1980. So I now consider it treat to go there instead of going 6x yearly, since 2000. It was a gradual erosion until 2015 when, without notice, I lost the huge excitement of going.
