Going to be in Vegas in April for a midweek stay. What are the chances of finding a good daily tournament in the morning Tuesday-Thursday? Looking for at least a semi-full tournament somewhere close to MGM. Anything worth playing in or am I better off waiting and playing in a tournament late at night? I want to keep my afternoons and evening free to spend time with the family and girlfriend.

Planet Hollywood's 10:00 AM game is pretty good... 20-30 entries usually with a $1500 guaranteed prize pool. I've played this a few times.

Caesars Palace 10:00 AM game is $100 and also has a $1500 guaranteed prize pool, though I've never played that.

Flamingo has a game at 10:00 AM with $20K in chips but only 15 minute level.

    A game for all tastes.

Thanks for the info and the link. I think I'll probably end up checking out the Planet Hollywood tournament and see how that goes. If things go well there maybe I'll try another if I have time.

MGM 11 AM $70 buy in $2K guar. 15K starting stack, blinds start at 25/50. 15 min. blinds. So crappy blind times & house takes $20 of the $70

PH 10AM $80 buy in 12K starting stack, blinds start at 50/100 I believe, 20 min blinds--much better structure than MGM w/ 20 min. blinds; house takes $22/80, so a bit better. $1500 guar

I only know Caesars Palace offer tournament at 10:00 AM. A buy in of $100 with a $1500 prize pool. You can check the other schedule of Caesars Palace tournament at their site.
