It's a long story, but in a total loss of sanity, I made a tandem skydive 2 years ago. It's impossible to explain how very different it feels looking down from the open door at 14,000 ft. as opposed to looking out the window; and jumping out goes against every shred of my inborn survival instincts. But while it might have been the most exciting thing I've ever done, once was enough and I swore I'd never do it again. That said, I jumped again 2 weeks ago and my son filmed. Next time you find yourself getting bored at the tables, you might want to try it.

You'd have to kick me out the door. I like mountains, not cliffs.

    Next up: fire walking!

Congrats on jumping out of a plane twice and living to tell about it. :D :headbang:

I was able to scratch tandem skydiving off of my bucket list when I was younger, but I have no plans on doing it again. LOL It does give one quite an adrenaline rush when you take the plunge, praying that your chute doesn't fail.:woohoo:

Yep – 2 years. My son has a "C" license, a few hundred jumps, is a coach, going for his instructor rating, and recently got certified to film. So he said several weeks ago, "Gee Dad, why don't you jump again so I can film you?" If not for him, I NEVER would have even thought about jumping out of a plane.

I skydived several times in the 1980s. It is a serious adrenaline rush!
