I agree with you. In February the comped casino mojito tasted really bad to me, couldn't drink it.

I agree with others who have said the drink service is good in the Cosmo casino. Their namesake drink the Cosmo is delicious even though made a bit differently then the traditional recipe since they use Hanger One Mandarin Orange Vodka. Like Breanna I love their lemon drop and lemon drop raspberry martinis and the chocolate martinis are also good.

The bloody mary from Book & Stage is damn good if you ask for it spicy. I finally discovered the beauty that is Book & Stage back in Feb and this time next week I will likely be playing bad VP tables and sipping Book & Stage drinks. Gotta put in work to maintain my Gold status.:drunk:

I got an e-mail from them today for 2 free nights sun-thur. Shitty thing is it expires Sept 10 and I don't plan on going till Oct, hopefully they will extend it.

I am VERY suprised I got this offer, It's been well over a year since I've gambled there with a card (have been recently as March but didn't use card) and I probably didn't get more than $250 coin in on slots.

I like my Bloody Mary's spicy too, but I don't usually play VP. We may run into each other around Cosmo as I arrive next week on Wednesday. :)

Is B&S the one with the Asian pit? We were playing pai gow there in january, as a slow and steady gamble while getting drinks.

I arrive on Monday and staying for the week. It's hard to not use up front comps at such a nice place. I'll probably be the only guy sporting a Houston Astros hat.

I was impressed that last time I ordered an old fashioned they went over to vesper to get cherries. It was a nice touch. I'll give the new vp at Chandelier a go too. Good drinks can make up for bad vp. Though more blackjack and craps is calling my name.

I think that's Queue Bar as they have a small pit. Never paid attention to what's actually being dealt.

    Mysterious

Sounds like my surprise. The comp system at the Cosmo working in a mysterious but wonderful way.

This year might be a record for me in visits. Last year was 5, next month will be my 4th with a planned 5th in November. Of course only 1 of my last 4 trips were pre-planned. Haven't paid a penny on rooms, thank you Downtown Grand, MyVegas and Cosmopolitan!

My trip next week to the wonderful Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has been cancelled:cry: I've been looking forward to this trip with just my wife and I, (usual trips are with my adult kids or other relatives).
My elderly mother has been not feeling well, a MRI showed 9 lesions on her brain. Cancer.

To give people an idea, I went to Vegas in October with my girlfriend and took about $3,500 total spends. Staying in the Cosmo it got most of our play from the start and end of each day. We spent the bulk of each day roaming other hotels and signed up for an M Life card but forgot to use it.

I think we ended up using my card the most and racked up about 2,500 points I think. Until recently I didn't get a single email from Cosmo and being from the UK I can't access that side of the Cosmo website. My girlfriend however was getting weak buffet offers weekly. I emailed resort services who located my player number and out me in touch with Identity who updated the incorrect email they had. I received an instant offer for 3 nights and $150 credit. I was planning on waiting for the winter offers to come in so I could go in November when I get and mail to say I was now part of the Sterling level Identity group and could get 1 compd night a year. I thought I would never be revisiting Cosmo as I'd probably tone down the accommodation costs for the next trip.

Imagine my surprise then, when I get an email this morning offering me 3 nights and $150 again.

Not sure what's going on but won't question it and will be calling to book the second the offer covers November.

I've stayed at Cosmo several times since it first opened and have paid $200-400 a night for rooms. Never got any free offers until this year when I got two free room nights during the week. I went there in March with their free comps. At check-in, they said comped rooms were just regular studios. They offered me an upgrade to a junior suite with Bellagio view for $50 a night so I took that. It was a great room and great deal. I hope they still offer free rooms when new ownership takes over!
