In the lst year I have seen that game at $25 minimums at Mirage, Bellagio and aria. Not available all the time, but during the weekday, you could find it.

MC got rid of its cheap table with those rules? I remember many a day playing those rules at $10 a hand!

    MC's table is definitely gone.

I think it's just Mirage and MGM who regularly lay that out at $25. I'm not a Bellagio or Aria guy, so that's possible.

Bellagio and Aria have those tables at $25 during the weekday. But I think they raise the limits by the afternoon

I played a 6 deck S17 game for $15 at the MGM Grand the last weekend of January.

It's funny, the normal BJ pit was packed with players playing $15 H17 games, and the pit with the S17 games was nearly empty. I commented on this and the dealer basically said people are stupid and rolled his eyes.

Sorry if I came across wrong. The MC used to have great blackjack, and it just depresses me that they got rid of it.

yeah, it's too bad that you have to search out the best tables at any casino. i long for thedays when most of the casinos in vegas had good rules.

The Monte Carlo has ghetto elevators. They only have buttons on the left side of the elevator as you enter them. (Compare to Four Seasons, Bellagio, etc, that has them on both sides of the entrance way)

    Anyway

My tip, stay on the left side so you can easily push your floor button. Peeps tend to ask those standing next to the buttons to punch a floor as if they are elevator operators. Aggrrhhh

My best tip, do not stay at the Monte Carlo

Stay at a resort that does not have ghetto elevators

You're back with this weak-ass "buttons are only on the left side of the elevator" again? Good grief......

Ask the cocktail waitress to bring you a spicy Caesar - yum, yum. They ran out of Clamato juice our last visit!

Also, the Greyhound Racing game is like an updated modified Sigma Derby machine. Good drink service and cheap entertainment!!

I remember that exact same thing happening at Monte Carlo a few years ago, when they did have the three tables with good rules. My buddy and I were at the S17 table alone, right next to the H17 table, that was full. I asked the dealer, in a rhetorical fashion, why are those people there, not here. Yup, sure enough she said, "A lot of stupid people come through here." And rolled her eyes. lol

Yes, Monte Carlo USE to have the best shoe game on the Strip. But they screwed that up. They also screwed up by doing away with the brewery. It's almost dishonest for them to still call the pub The Brew Pub.

Even with all that, I still like the property to stay and play at. I call it The Poor Man's Bellagio.
