    My Trip Report

This was my 3rd trip to Vegas and was looking forward to my first comp room offer ever! Had to take them up on it so a friend and I booked our flights and off we went.

Our flight boards on time but before we could back away from the gate they say Due to storms in Vegas we are delayed 3 hours! We un board and wait it out at DFW. Flight takes off 3 hours later and we are now in Vegas![IMG]

We get to the MC check in ask for upgrades politely and are told none are available! That's ok! Here are some pics of our room with a decent view for comp I would think.

Next we go down for some pizza! Cheap filling and next to casino!
We sign up for the 11pm poker tournament with a $40 buy in. I do well at first and think I am on my way! Cards said otherwise as everything went south. At 2 am I go out in 18 of 29 but got well worth my buy in as our cocktail waitress hooked us up all night in the poker room. I play VP for 3 hours and hit 1 4OAK

I call it a night down 200 with some slot pulls here and there scattered in that never hit.

Next morning we wake up and head to Mirage for a morning poker tournament only to be told the $65 buy in was now $125 so we go to breakfast and it was delicious! You have to give this place a shot if you are hungry and at the Miracle Mile shops around breakfast time! Vegas Burger!

    [IMG][IMG]

After breakfast we go to MGM and I lose another tournament only this time I last long enough for only one drink!

Now is nap time and I wake up feeling great. Go over to Aria and win a little on slots and go over to NYNY and lose a little. Go back to Monte Carlo and lose a lot! Down another $200 on the day so now Down $400 on the trip. Hoping Monday turns things around I go to bed again at 3am.

Wake up and use my My Vegas buffet voucher at the MC. Food was good but they ran out of coffee! How do you let the coffee run out at a Buffet? I was not going to wait for more to make so I left after 1 plate.[IMG]

Flight is at 2 so we have about 3 hours to win my $400 back! I promptly lose another $170 even though I do hit my 2nd 4OAK

I end the trip playing pool until my flight! I must say the lounge area with pool and shuffle boards was nice.

I would stay at MC again in a minute. I like the size and accessibility of everything there. A great coffee shop onsite you can walk to many casinos fairly easy. They had wifi in the rooms and the beds were comfy like many on here have said. Overall a great trip and I look forward to winning next time!

Here are a few more pics I did not work in!

Nice report! Thanks for the MC tips (pool and shuffleboard lounge and good coffee shop) and the breakfast bargain across the street.
Hope your next trip brings more winning pics!!

i also was delayed on flight but I was flying out of Vegas on the 9th and we weren't lucky enough to deplane we were stuck on the plane on the runway. I was stuck sitting next to somebody who literally couldn't sit still for 30 seconds:grrr:

Yes we were lucky to be able to un board. They started to board about 15 minutes early and we wondered why. We now think they were hoping to get off the ground before the stoppage but just were not able to make it. So happy to not have to sit at the gate for 3 hours.

Nice report! That is one of the nicest things about MC, a lot of affordable options are right there. And the pool area is quite nice too!
