Oh no, there's no finding. When FedEx declares it lost, you submit a claim for reimbursement and move on. I am trying to teach this to the store who sent me the dress - as the shipper, they need to submit the claim. And they *should* know this, if they've ever used FedEx or UPS before:rolleyes2:

Well, the standard room rate hasn't been coming down - it's been stuck at $249/night for a while now. I went ahead and booked the You need some Sun package - at least I get $50 food credit with the rack rate.....:peace:

We were just at Mohegan Sun last night. The place was not busy at all.

Went to Bobby Flay's new burger place. Very good and reasonable.

There is also a Frank Pepe's pizza(New Haven Connecticut fame) there now.

Saw Eddie Money at the Wolf's Den. The Moneyman can still go. It was one of his best shows at Mohegan Sun.

There were $5 craps tables and $10 blackjack tables. I just went to see the show and didn't even bother gambling(I usually can't say that very often).

We only live 45 minutes from the place so it is real easy to pop in when we want to.

Oh, I know Pepe's pizza!!! I grew up in CT (we're going back for my high school reunion, actually) We might grab some lunch there - hoping it's as good as the original....Thinking about Tuscany for dinner.....

Price went down, I rebooked, still with the $50 food credit. Should we eat at Tuscany? TA reviews mixed, but you know, that's TA:rolleyes2: Guess I should see if chowhound posters have reviews.....

My parents love the Tuscany lunch buffet. It's much smaller and more upscale than the "common" buffet at the casino. My father usually skips the main course and goes right for the dessert, which includes Italian pastries. I've never been myself.

Reviews on chowhound have been pretty dismal, so....I'm thinking Pepes for lunch (I know we'll be starving - we get in to BDL around 12:35, knock wood, so it'll probably be after 2 before we get to MS) then maybe one of the casual places for a later, light dinner, like the Coves or the other cafe, name escaping me at the moment. Will probably walk around and look at the menus to decide.....Now that we know there are $5 craps tables (again, knock wood) we might actually gamble while we're there too. We've never enjoyed gambling anywhere but Vegas, so we'll see how that goes.....

    Hoya,
Usually always $5 craps tables in the original casino(right across from where Pepe's is). At night these tables are good to play at because they are near the Wolf's Den and you can actually listen to a band while you are playing.

Have a bourbon milk shake from the bar at Bobby Flays while you wait for your table at Pepes pizza. It's a great way to waste 20 minutes!

    Have a great trip
