We used it last year. You have to go get it loaded onto the account at the desk. There's a book at Binions.

I’m being serious here - does the app give you drink coupons or other means for free drinks when betting?

None that I have used. That being said, most people who use these apps aren't sitting at the sportsbook. That's why they get the app.

I don't think the California is a William Hill site. Pretty sure they're with Bconnected. The D is also a WH sports book.

I believe that in Downtown there are only WH books, except Golden Nugget (independent). I’ll be using the ACG coupon in a few weeks. Good luck!

If you withdraw more than $10k at a time, you probably should report those winnings. I like walking up to the sportsbook with cash money and making my bets, and spreading the bets across 5-15 sportsbooks, it's a lot of work, but worth it.

    All wins are reportable income.

I think the question is what are the casinos required to report on individual players.

Really disappointed in the MLife App. Still hasn’t updated after the game.

Just a follow up to this. Got an email from WH with a promotion to put $10 in the mobile app on the Monday after Super Bowl after you make a bet using their app before the Super Bowl.
I used WH and Bconnected apps to shop best odds for prop bets and prefer WH to look back and see how your bets came out. Bconnected doesn't list your bets/amounts on your account.

What I meant was, if the casino reports your winnings, you're going to have more of an obligation to report what you won, if I win money under the radar and nobody knows about it, then neither will the IRS lol

How many different betting apps are there? I opened one at Red Rock because I was staying there so I know it is a STN app. How many others are there? I see abbreviations for some of them but I don't know what the abbreviation stands for. WH = William Hill.... others?

Just saw the William Hill FAQ reads:

Winnings are taxed in accordance with IRS requirements. Any single wager paying 300 times the amount wagered and at least $600 is taxable income. It is the account holder’s responsibility to come to a manned William Hill location and complete the W-2G. If any winnings minus the amount wagered exceed $5,000, federal taxes are withheld and the balance deposited to the account holder’s account. William Hill will report all W-2G information to the IRS, as required.

LOL. This is probably the best advice ever given on this board. They don't just ban you from the app for winning they ban you from the window.

All Sports Book have an app.

It is location based. if you are in area code 702 you can bet from anywhere in that area code. Such as, you are sitting on the toilet in a port a potty at Hoover Dam on the Nevada side, you can make a bet. Or you are in Area 51 because you have been abducted by aliens, they will probably allow you to use your technology to make a bet, but you won't be able to phone home. Priorities, you know.

Probably works the same for 725 and 775.

you might be able to fool your phone so you can bet outside of the area code, but if the casino busts you they will 86 your account. Make your own decision on that one.
