I am all for a bit after, rates were just stupid this year.

I love the first weekend of March Madness, as it matches with our annual St. Patrick's Day trip.

Next year, in 2012, St. Patrick's is on a Saturday. I was at the last St. Patrick's Day in Vegas on a Saturday... and well.. I've been back every since. And 2011 was one of our best trips in a long while, so while I would really like to meet up again with everyone (as that was part of the amazing fun!), I'm opting for going when St. Patrick's Day lands again this year.

Because St. Patrick's Day in on a Saturday, we'll be putting in some Spring Training Games either before or after the Vegas adventure this year. I'd love to see everyone, but I understand if the rates are too much for people on the first MM weekend.

But, don't we go for March Madness anyway? :)

I have visited a couple times before for Final 4 and it's not nearly as crazy as 1st week MM. But hey, I had an awesome time this year, and will definitely be looking to do it again. We have a whole year to start making plans, right?

I like the MM celebrations being Near St paddys day – because we need another excuse to drink right???

2012 will have St Paddys day on a Saturday.. That could be a lot of fun…..

However as I most drank at MSS and played cards in Binions I guess I’m not that vested in it!!

The same weekend works for me. Earlier would be a bit cold IMO and too much earlier clashes with my kids vacation.

I vote for same weekend for maybe a bit later….

Which is totally avoiding the subject…

If you thought rates weren't great this year, imagine what having St Pats on a saturday coincident with the first round of the tourney will do.

I like the idea of a little bit later for better pool time.

Meh.. St Patrick's Day doesn't inflate the prices. MM does. Most of Vegas doesn't even know it's St. Patrick's Day.

MM is why the prices go up. The city is packed with sports betters.
