Bacardi and coke! No well shit right KENO? haha Thanks for the drink dude..and the other special gift that i dont think anyone saw.
Sin, Sonya, and the other few people who I currently cannot remember your names..It was fantastic seeing you and really wish i could have stayed til Sunday. Maybe next time if we fly i shall do just that!

Going home that night sucked because some drunk idiot..after i warned him..fell into the right side of the buttons and pressed nearly 20 floors...I waited 6 times before i left that elevator knowing it was going to take forever!

I had a wonderful time also meeting everyone! LF & I moved to Orleans for our last 2 nights & just hung out here, dinner at Big Al's, gambling around last night.

One more night & homeward bound. LF hits the spa today, then Flame for dinner is the plan.

We skipped a lot of stuff we wanted to do, but of course that's normal on a Vegas trip, lol. I'm about even gambling-wise after being up slightly most of the trip. Time to go big?

some people don't need sticky juice to act drunk...

I shit you not friends, totally sober and just walked into this pane of glass between the bedroom and the shower like a drunken chicken hawk on a Windex bender:

That is too funny! Cool room but not sure I would like a window into the shower, it seems a little creepy.

the first time was all in good fun. the second time I that damn glass wall reached out and head butted a nice red mark on my forehead!

I guess those are the risks when this is how you roll (photoshopped out the hookers and blow):

I am so sad! I have to get on a plane and go back to reality in a few hours :0(

I have had a most amazing trip! I met a bunch of new friends and got to spend lots of time with some old friends. I have partied, shopped, gambled and just lazed about. My week of fun is coming to a close and I can't wait for the next trip!

So, late to post again. I realize I haven't posted to this thread since Saturday Morning (afternoon?) on the way to the poker tourney.

The WAX is cool. Way smoother ride than a taxi and only 2 of us in the bus. For just $4 bucks from NYNY to 4th and Carson. It was like our own monster party bus. Seriously, the fun we all could have had on that trip downtown!

I made the final table and couldn't believe it... even left in the money! Woot!

Ended up going back to NYNY on Saturday night (big surprise) but ran into some friends from a couple of years ago and hung out with them all night there, along with the band from Nine Fine Irishmen. We were already friends with them, but became proper friends by putting on a serious bender. SO love that place. I really can't explain it.

Sunday, had plans to meet up with Holland and Mr. Holland's Opus, but we for some reason got up and headed over (relatively early) to Carnival Court. We were just chillin' have a good time, not really drinking, then met some people and well, you know how it goes. It was day 5 and we were quite gone by then so we went home and hit the bed early in the day, unfortunately having to cancel on Holland (if you haven't realized, J-P is Holland now... at least that's what we all called him at the poker tourney. super great guy, if you get the chance to meet him, do it!).

But, then, I started getting texts later in the night, around 10:30 or so, from friends back home asking what I was up to now (I text quite a bit... especially when drunk and Sunday I was in fine form). But night 5 hitting a bender? Could we do it? Could I do it? I really couldn't disappoint my fans so I headed out for a bit more. We didn't want to go far and just went to the bar downstairs (NFI) and was met with welcome merriment from the band, who went on to tell the whole crowd the fun we had the night before (drinking, girls kissing, guys fawning, more drinking.. you get the picture... oh wait.. I have the pictures.....)

But it was a short short night. Had to go back and pass out and fly home on Monday morning. Monday sucked. royally. Got back home, but was just a mess all day and then couldn't sleep all night. Here it is the next night, still can't sleep.

Maybe need to go next weekend just for a night or two to get it out of my system again. Oh to be back in Vegas. :)

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. It's too late right now and they are all posting way too huge on the board for me to figure it out. wait until tomorrow night! :)

I’m back home. Getting up at 6am SUCKS.

Managed a new record yesterday. From el Cortez to the airport, checked in and through security (stopping for a smoke break and a restroom break – not at the same time) in under 40 minutes……

The shortest queues at the airport EVER!!

As for the trip… that was fun. I hit the wall big time on Saturday night. But after 3 nights of 3 hours sleep max that’s not a shock…

I think one of binions tables is permanently stained after an impromptu t2v limit session on st paddys day left to somebody spreading liquids over it. I’m not saying who it was but the liquid looked quite sticky….
That was after we took over the Boar bar at MSS!! A bit rowdier crew than they normally get! And I hear some limo drivers weren’t in the mood for some of the partying that was going on that night!!

I now have another Poker trophy for my man cave.. am I the first to get 2 trophys from that tourney??? And I still haven’t won it!! Nicely run BTW Dougie – thanks! Some most Excellent prizes. That bath robe looked the business!!

El Cortez was a blast. $5 Pai Gow!! Woohoo.

Made the mistake of doing 3 card poker on the last night which put a hole in the budget. Should have known better when the dealer put down 555 for himself first hand!!

I think I should sober up by the weekend. Just not sure what weekend.

I’ve been back less than 24 hours.

    LETS DO IT AGAIN!!!!

Oh and folks. Ruth Chris? Really? That would have been nice… (this counts as a reprimand for some people…)

hehe my bad. In my defense I'll say that Liz's 13 year old daughter was with us so I have to be careful about who (or what) I expose her to. She's still very impressionable...

As far as I can recall, yes, you're the first to be in the tequila twice (official tournament tequila anyways... multitudes of us have been in the tequila twice - or more - more times than we can count otherwise). You're inching up... if the pattern holds, year after next you'll win it all!

Was nice to meet you all and put a face to all the names (not that I remember everyone and their handles, lol). I had a lot of fun on friday night at the cosmo. the room was nice and the view was awesome.

For me it was a perfect ending to my vacation, and the patron shots and captain and cokes helped put me in the right mood all night. Never had a captain where there was more alcohol than soda, thanks patti! I returned my rental car and got through the check in lines and security without any problems. I was lucky though, the family in front of me had problems, their bags were all over 60 lbs so they had to do a lot of rearranging to get their bags under the 50 lb limit. When the ticket agent got to me he didn't even bat an eye that my bowling bag was 52.5 lbs and my suitcase was over 53.5 and just sent them through.

The buzz helped me sleep on the plane and I got home feeling pretty good. Unfortunately guess I caught someone's cold (lucky it didn't affect me that badly on my last night there) and I've been coughing and hacking the past few days.

I had a good last day there, all day friday I seemed to do well at the craps tables and was able to pay off all my markers and was able to bring home some cash too. A great way to end a vegas vacation.

Was nice to meet all of you at the meet, esp sin (sorry about your mom's passing, I didn't read about it until I got back), patti and ang. Too bad I couldn't have stayed a day or two longer to enjoy the poker tournament but I still enjoyed meeting you all.

    Becky,
Surprised you weren't with the crew this time. Hopefully, nothing serious kept you away from the party.

thanks sonya. was nice to meet you too.

yes, there's always next year. but then I don't like crowds, fremont st was way too crowded for my tastes and the tables were all busy and filled at most casinos in the evenings. didn't gamble as much as I hoped but at least I didn't lose much money either.

Her daughter. Liz has already been exposed to most of you buffoons so I'm no longer worried about her.

Lets start talking about next year. I suggest we look at dates that do not coincide with the first weekend of the Madness. Rates are SO much better a few weeks before or after.

Since I no longer care, I am all for a bit after. Before is OK too, but it would be nice to have a better chance for warmer weather. :peace:
