On and off roomies — Sin, Patti and AngelChick (Sandra). Hotels — Wed-Sun, IP two bedroom penthouse suite — Sun-Tuesday, Mirage two bedroom penthouse suite. Played mostly craps and a little blackjack. No wins to speak of.

Wednesday, March 26
8:45 am — 3.5 hour uneventful direct flight on Airtran arrives in Vegas.
check into IP

11:30 am — George from Presidential limo picks up Sin and I for our four hour limo ride. Stops at the airport to pick up Scott and Patti, Lee’s Discount Liquor, some grocery store and In-N-Out Burger. This was my first time to In-N-Out. I got the double-double meal animal style and I also bought lunch for George. Our limo was to large to go through the drive-up window so we sat outside and ate.













4:00 pm — Body scrub at the IP Spa.

9:15 pm — Eric from Presidential limo arrives promptly in our party bus at IP where we all board and head to the airport to surprise Sandra. We had the limo booked for two hours, but Eric gave us an extra hour for free. We mostly drove around acting like buffoons, stopping at the welcome to Vegas sign for some photos and we also made a couple other stops. When we all returned to IP we scattered out in the casino to our favorite games.


















Thursday, March 27
4:00 pm — Dinner at Maggiano's with the clan. Damn I loved those stuffed mushrooms. After dinner, we headed to Eric’s (Jack21) Wynn suite for some cocktails, thank you so much Eric . My first visit to a Wynn suite, very nice, excellent view of the golf course. Back to the IP for some gambling and then later that night I headed over to Ballys to meet up with my girlfriend Cyndy and her hubby for some $25 blackjack.

Friday, March 28
1:30 pm — Stoned and buttered, (translation: hot stone massage with body butter :evillaugh) Harrahs spa with Steve. ahhhhh, I needed that! Followed immediately with a salon visit. When I got back to the room the conversation went something like this:

Sin: I thought you had an appointment to get your hair done.
Angy: I already went.
Sin: I hope you didn’t pay for that, it looks like shit!

Out comes the curling iron and my $65 visit to the salon is a distant memory.

6:30 pm — Party at the Palace came to an abrupt end after several hours of fun, and the third visit from security. We all headed out and made our appearance at Carnival Court until we closed the place down.

Saturday, March 29
1:00 pm. — Third times a charm! I finally made it to the poker tourney. I can’t tell you how nervous I was but I accomplished my goal of not being the first one out. And I'd like to give a shout out to AhhCraps, without your help I wouldn't have made it as far as I did ! Afterward I even played some more poker at the losers table.

Later some of us walked over to Ellis Island to try the steak special. After we all lost our money at the midget craps table they were kind enough to comp all our meals. We had a great waitress who informed us to order something better than the steak special since the casino was buying so I had the prime rib, rare...not to bad. Later that night some of us headed downtown.







Sunday, March 30
11:30 am — Check out of room at IP. As much as we have complained about that place closing the door for the last time was a bittersweet moment...we’ve had a lot of good times there.

1:00 pm — Arrive at Mirage to check in. We girls have a tower suite booked so Snert kindly offers to switch reservations as he has a penthouse suite, thanks again Snerty ! Of course I take him up on his offer. If I had known what was about to happen, I might not have been so quick to accept. Long story short: it took five hours for us to finally get into a room wasting an entire day in Vegas. The first three suites they gave us were occupied. I particularly liked the one guy who was in bed sleeping when we busted in. He sat up, looked at everyone, rolled over and went back to sleep. After meeting with the assistant hotel manager we were finally given a two bedroom penthouse suite for the same price as the one bedroom, a couple hundy credit on my bill, and a late checkout for Tuesday. After another unfortunate incident — my poor Patti was in the elevator alone, it dropped and then was stuck between floors — they took one of the nights completely off the bill. I told Sin at the rate we were going if we were staying one more night I probably would have owned that place.

Monday, March 31
Cabana day at the pool — Scott was kind enough to treat us to a cabana at the pool. Awesome! Thanks again Scott !

Awesome Angy!!! I cannot thank you enough for all that you did for me. Somehow I will find a way to return the favor. Great pics!! I haven't even had a chance to look at mine yet. Hopefully soon I will get them posted.

 

Awesome TR! Fantastic pics too!.. I never heard about Patti in the elevator. You poor thing! What a disaster the Mirage was for you guys, but at least they came through and made up for it. I'm sooo bummed I couldn't stick around for cabana day. TY again for everything!! You went above and beyond, AGAIN!
