MM2 Photo Trip Report

[Beach Crazy]

First of all, don't believe everything you read in all those other trip reports. I may not remember everything, but I remember more than some of you think.

We had the best time. Everyone was just as fun as I thought they would be and then some. I wish I had taken more pictures but half the time I didn't know where my camera or my phone was. But I did get a few really nice group shots. Some of them need a little tweeking, which I will do when I go back to work next week. If you are in the photo and would like a copy please send me a pm and let me know which one.

Saturday night we loaded in RamBills car and headed to the Barbary Coast for a little gambling.

Yes we gambled some and then before I know it, I am being escorted out by two security guards as big as Mikey. Let me tell you, they had no sense of humor. After wandering the strip for a while I met this nice young man who offered to sit with me and have a drink. Well, that was until the others showed up and made him leave

Then it was Sunday night and we all headed over to the Barbary Coast again to meet with some of the next round of T2V people. I was trying to keep a low profile as to not be escorted out again

And by the way, thank you so much Sonya and TheKiller for the drinks. We all had Watermelon Martinis in honor of Dr Al.

We headed over to the Venetian for some grub and a few prom pictures. Ross was finally starting to loosen up. Ross, where are your hands??

Yes, Mikey did very well on the craps tables this past weekend

Then we headed over to the Frontier (I think) and look even quiet, shy DrAl was starting to loosen up.

Oh yeah, we stayed at the Mirage, had a great view overlooking the pool

And then.....everyone was gone and we still had 2 nights to go.

So it was Monday night, everyone went home and Mikey wasn't feeling well so Cyndy and I decided we needed to go gambling at the Palms and meet some new friends. I also needed to scratch something off my list of things I wanted to do which was to go up in the Ghost Bar since I have a fear of heights. So after a little gambling we made it to Ghost bar.

And here you go Blackjack, yes those are my toes standing on the glass and I did jump up and down a little bit

And we met new friends. Of course they weren't near as fun as our T2V buddies.

I don't quite know what I'm doing in this picture, but Cyndy says I was dancing

Oh and yes, I met Mikeys twin brother there.

We were having such a great time.

I had a prop bet of even money that you would even make it home safely, let alone with your camera intact (glad you did on both counts)

3Cats, as you can plainly see, I never needed to either hook or unhook, 'cause Angy/Becky took care of that for me....

Then it was time to go

On the way back in the Taxi we made our usual call to one of Cyndys friends, Tom. We do it every time we come out here. This time we told Tom we were being held for ransom by a Mexican immigrant and if he didn't wire $10,000 by noon the guy was gonna make us his bitches. Then the best part happened. We had the coolest cab driver who grabs the phone and starts talking to the guy telling him he's not Mexican, he's from Puerto Rico and he's taken us there if he doesn't get the money. We were laughing so hard we were crying.

Then it was Tuesday night, our last night in Vegas. Mikey was feeling a little better and we all wanted to go have a nice meal together so we went to Blackstones at the Monte Carlo. It was yummy

We played a little blackjack then decided to play craps some more. We were doing quite well but Cyndy and I were so stuffed from dinner we decided it was time to go back to the Mirage. But as I was leaving I saw one of those big $1 machines and decided I needed to put a 20 in since I hadn't played any slots.

Damn, I won $500. I decided to take the money and run.

We got up Wednesday morning, our flight wasn't leaving until around 5pm and then we realized. WE HAD NOT DONE ANY SHOPPING

So off we go to the Alladin to do some shopping. We shopped and shopped some more until it was time to head to the airport. This was the first time we have ever staying in Vegas 5 nights, normally we stay 4 and I can tell you, it is not too long. We still did not want to leave.

Well, that's it folks. I can't even tell you how much fun we had. I would have liked to have spent more time with everyone, but it just didn't work out that way. I already had a few T2V members that I was corresponding with and now I have more. Thanks all you guys for making mine and Cyndys trip soooo much fun. We started missing you all since the moment you left.

Sorry about all the typos, I'm actually not quit normal yet, whatever this is.

What nice pics and TR. Sounds like a good time was had by all. How does the ceiling at BC look? Tossed from 2 places! Glad you could represent the State of Illinois so well.

BTW the one group pic where everyone has their heads turned toward AL should should be titled: Doc, did you fart?

Now that's funny!! It was never intended to be a "look at Doc" pic, just a fun idea that the very nice lady with the camera told us to do. Although, come to think of it, something was funky back there... Doc???

What a good report. You just tell it like it is.

It took me 3 years to finally go to Ghost Bar. Isn't that glass "section" a trip. When I finally went up there it had rained the night before and there was water between the panes of glass. That even freaked me out more. I had to leave. But we never did see Mikey's twin there.

Jack21: Of course I made it home with my camera and cell phone but I was missing a lot of other stuff including my eye glasses, a big bottle of eye drops some sunglasses and my teef!! Damn, I love those teef.

Marty: the ceiling at BC looked like...... hmmmm I don't really remember. I'm always happy to represent the great state of Illinois. Who says we don't know how to party

Yes indeed, good pics, If you read my TR the Lux dinner, prior and or post or both for that matter....

were a little fuzzy. That seems to be the only "hole" in my memory, about an hour or so, It does seem to trickle back a bit piece by piece. It was nice to meet both you and Cyn....Do I need to be writing any type of cheque(s)?....

It was a Fun Time.
