Guys/All, very sorry for the delayed updates. My father in law's health turned and he entered hospice, I've been with family for the last several days - not really the best time/place to bring up a web browser with VMB to talk about PT et al, etc.

I'll be back here/update as soon as I can!

    Hi all--

Been a rough few weeks for me (moreso for my saint DW and her family). My F-I-L passed away on Sunday, the service was yesterday. I feel really bad about not getting the TR I started finished but ... shit happened and I just haven't been around/up for a long post. I've been busy maintaining work and dealing with family life in an extreme situation. VMB is a fun place but falls low on the totem pole at times.

Great thing about this site is though we all love talking about Vegas 98% of the time the community knows the other 2% is more important. E.g., I started reading JD's thread about his hopeful rekindled romance; not sure where that ended up (been too busy to follow TRs lately) but it warmed my heart to read that he is finding happiness outside of Whiskey Down. :)

Anyway, I'm still here occasionally, haven't forgotten the thread. In an attempt to keep your attention:

PT pulled out a $25k marker to impress a cutie at a $10 min FBBJ table. I saw it coming from a mile away .... his attempt to impress did nothing more than cause flopsweat from the couple at the other end of the table as he was betting $1k-2K/hand lol.

More to come, thanks for the PMs and kind words.

Better late than never?! I have some down time and will try to finish this – with the time and events that have passed I’m sure some details will be missed but I’ll try to hit the memorable highlights.

Friday started very casually, coffee from VaBenne and I scouted the tables. I rolled dice for a while, then fount PT at the baccarat table. I have to say that after reading about PT, Nate and other high rollers I thought I’d be nervous watching big stacks of chips on the tables but after a few hands it became no big deal – chips is chips, these were just a different color. So he’s playing baccarat, midi (I think that’s right?) where the player can touch the cards. Lots of screwing around, slowly turning the cards, wishing for this number or that … but if he’s got a strategy I can’t tell what it is – other than asking the cute CW what side she thinks he should play. It was very amusing, he tipped heavily, and let me handle the cards for a few hands, which was fun, and something I doubt I’ll do again for a long time!

I think he came away from baccarat up a couple thousand, so we looked for another game to play. I had been wanting to try FBBJ and PT hadn’t played it, and we found a table with some openings.

The table has a friendly couple in their 50s/60s and a cutie in her late 20s/30s. As we’re walking to the table, PT tells me “OK, watch this,” and I could see it coming down 5th Avenue, “Mr. Look At My Large … Marker”. Lol I can’t blame him, I’d do the same if I could. So we sit down, I buy in for my usual $3-500, and PT pulls a $25k marker. Now, this is a $10 min/$2000 max table, and he rolls up and pulls $25k. The older couple just about lost their shit at that amount of chips, I was pretty immune to it at this point, and cutie didn’t seem to notice one way or the other.

We play for a while, me at $15, progressing to $50 or so when I could, and PT going anywhere from $500 to table max $2k, usually in the $1k range. But seriously, the couple just couldn’t get over the large bets on the table and needed drinks just to steady their nerves, I think they’re starting to sweat for PT, of course PT’s playing into their nervousness etc, totally messing with them, and they pick up on it too and we all have a great time. At one point PT had to step away for a few minutes to sort out some things with his muscle (they were getting checked into the bungalow suite) and everyone at the table looks at me with wide, saucer eyes, and they’re asking “what’s the deal with your friend/who is he/etc?” and I realized the absurdity of the situation I’m in when I answer “I honestly don’t know, he’s just a guy I met on the internet and I more or less just met him myself.” We continued to play for a while, I think PT left after he was even for the session. He was hosting some friends in the suite that night and had to get things ready.

Cutie pie at the table left, I bid farewell to the couple (I think they were from Arizona) and wished them well for their Scarpetta dinner that night.

I bounced around for the afternoon, can’t remember what, exactly, but at one point I came across cutie pie again and she asked where my friend was. Not thinking much of it, I texted PT a while later saying “hey I just saw cutie and she was asking after you”, more as a ha-ha kind of thing but next I know PT’s calling me saying I need to get her details and invite her to the suite lol. We agreed to meet at a craps table to discuss.

Well, sadly, nothing happened with cutie, I didn’t see her again or get her number so that one got away. PT and I rolled dice for a while and I briefly met Plee, but he was waiting to meet up w someone and/or had a slot on his mind so he didn’t stick around for long.

PT invited me to his party that night, I said I’d play it by ear. Short version is that I dressed, played in the casino and didn’t connect with him again that night. I did meet a British gentleman who was very interested in talking with me (and methinks wanted to do more than talk), and we did go to Chandelier and have a Verbena, but it went to further than that. I just wanted another one of those interesting, delicious cocktails and to mess with this guy a bit.

Saturday day was more strolling the casino, craps and FBBJ. It seemed like the same people were always playing FB, and though others would walk up and play a few hands, they’d leave, but a core group was always around. A couple of single guys, and a couple of female Asian-American friends, between talking to the dealer and them I found out they come in from Cali on a regular basis with their husbands. They’d play a while, win some money, then go spend it on clothes/jewelry etc. and come back to the table, wash, rinse repeat.

Time has wiped the brain cells, I can’t remember what else I did but I know I had a 6pm appointment to get a blow-out and makeup done before PT’s big event. Now, I’m not a spa or salon guy, beyond my usual haircut and brow wax, and have no idea how this shit works, so I scoped it out beforehand to make sure I made as small of an ass of myself as possible. So I showered, dressed and made my way from East tower to West.

The appointment went really well, but I have no frame of reference so I can’t say if it was the best/worst, etc. I can tell you that the stylists were very fun, funny, and none had ever done makeup on/for a crossdresser before, apparently I was the first to have that done in the Cosmo spa. So I got that going for me, which is nice. They did have some interesting stories about other clients/requests, the one that sticks out in my mind was the gentleman who had eight women in his room and he called the stylist and wanted her to either color the women’s hair snow white and crop it extremely short, or completely shave their heads if hair color didn’t work out. She refused to do any of it, and he tipped her $2k and she left. Now, I may have my thing; PT has his cucumber thing; but holy crap, I think that’s in another league.

So anyway, I had my hair and makeup done. At one point I was a bit freaked out on the makeup when I looked in the mirror and I had to tell her I didn’t want to look like RuPaul, she was kinda taking it in that direction. At the end of the day, I guess it looked good (I’ll let PT, Frank or any others chime in), but honestly I don’t think it was worth the cost; I could have done a pretty damn good job myself and saved some $. But they do give you champagne while you’re being worked on.

With that, PT said to meet at the elevators on his floor at the appointed hour.

I thought the makeup looked understated and reserved when I met you, certainly not Ru Paul

I was ten minutes fashionably late to the elevator, who wants to be first to the party? Well, I don’t, but I was. Others rolled in shortly thereafter, and the only ones I remember were Plee and Frank – it was very confusing, meeting people with their real name and then tying it back to a VMB handle, so I’m using that as my excuse that protect the innocent. Frank is the exception, because Frank=Frank (pretty easy to remember that one) and we KNOW he’s not innocent ;)

We get to the Bungalow suite, and it is nice, I don’t think I have to tell you. Designed to be partied in, god bless the Cosmo for doing such a thing, I guess I’m naïve to not realize these things exist in the world. Early on in the room, muscle P was there, doing his thing (security/doorman), Plee was pouring drinks and getting everyone lubricated, and there were a lot of girls there. Sorry people, I’m not going to get into those details – it’s not my thing, but if it’s someone’s thing, then hallelujah, have at it. I’ll just say that if it were my thing, I wasn’t going to find it with these girls.

Other guests started rolling in and at this point it was like any other party, we all introduced ourselves, chitchatted, small talk, etc. PT gave a tour of the suite, it’s off the hook. My fave part would be the shower that is filled from the ceiling, PT played the dramatic effect perfectly.

There was dancing, there was plastic on the floor, and there was dessert. We’ve all seen the pictures in the After Dark thread, I’m not going to rehash it here. These things happened, I witnessed it, and have since done my best to block the worst and/or most incriminating parts from consciousness.

Frank and his cousin rolled in and at one point PT had indicated Frank “was afraid to meet me” or something to that effect. I had PM’ed Frank asking if he wanted to roll dice before the party but that apparently freaked him out (I’ll let him chime in with his version of events). We didn’t roll dice, but he arrived, we had a drink and adjourned to the roof pool area to chat. Nothing to worry about, we hit off immediately, had, and continue to have, lots of laughs.

One thing I definitely do remember is one girl at the party who was not like the others. SH was playing an entirely different game than the others there. And while I couldn’t say I found her attractive, there was something about her that turned me on. She was talking to me, looking deep, deep into my eyes, saying how great I look, and she kept addressing me as a woman. She, and I – we have a bond, as fellow women. OK, right I get it for the first few ha-has, but no, she was serious that I’m a woman. Inquisitive, intense eyes, “what do you mean, you’re not female? Of course you are” and I’m like – whoa, I didn’t sign up for a gender studies seminar honey, I came here to put on a dress, have a few drinks and shake my ass at Marquee, can we tone it down a notch?

Talk about flop sweat, I didn’t want this makeup to run, I paid good money for its application! Well the moment passed, somehow, I don’t know. I do remember several of us were near the pool, enjoying the outdoors and, how do I put this in a VMB-approved way? Remember in high school, maybe you needed an empty beer can, or an apple, to do… something with your friend Mary? We did that. With a beer can. At the Cosmo. Keepin’ it classy!

As we’re hanging out I continue to observe SH and it hit me like the proverbial ton of bricks. Of course, she was so, so very interested in me. And the next guy. And the next guy. Oh, and the one after that. Right. OMG I am so f’ing stupid to have not seen this beforehand. Like I said, she is GOOD, and not like the others. I mentioned this to PT at one point, assuming he knew her game, but he didn’t and was intrigued by my observations. And the strange thing is, even after I came to this realization, she was STILL strangely attractive to me! Men, we truly are all dogs…

My feet were starting to hurt in the heels I was wearing, and I decided that I needed to change into some flats. SH wanted to go to my room with me, and against all better judgement I said OK. As we’re walking the long hall to/from the room, SH is chatting with any/every security guard we come across. Flirting, talking, being cute – at this point the flag is up and I totally get her game, and it’s ridiculous, fascinating and hilarious to watch at the same time.

We get to my room, I use the restroom and come out to change shoes. I’m all “OK! Let’s get back to that party!” but she wants to talk. [Aside: OMG this sounds so insane now that I am recounting it months later, I can’t believe this happened much less that I even put myself in such a situation that I allowed it to happen] She has left a business card on my desk and written me a note with her name and numbers on it and asks me to give her a call while I’m in town. Feeling verrry awkward here, I just laid it out to her and said: “OK, I am a total rube from the Midwest and I have no idea what, exactly, is happening here.” More like, I know damn well what’s going on here but can’t believe it’s happening and just want to get things straight, for the proverbial record. With that on the table in the open, she explained that she has been paid an appearance fee for the night, to dance, and that is all. I thanked her for explaining, for her card and number, and said we should get back to the party.

Back at the Bungalow, things were continuing in their form (shower pic, cuke, etc), but one other VMBer, whose name I forget, SH and I went to Marquee. We popped right in from the entrance off of the suite, and SH was our ringleader, leading us through the different areas of the club. It was obvious she had been before and knew her way around and we were just along for the ride, which was fine. We tried, unsuccessfully, to get into a couple of different areas that were protected etc. Finally I settled into an area and shook my booty for a while and I lost the other two.

Marquee was very fun, for about 45 minutes, but after that I had had enough. Lots of really rude kids in the crowd. Can I be a bitter old man for a minute here – what is the deal with the kids these days at clubs/concerts? Back in my day, we all were in the crowd, mosh pit or otherwise, and we were one big, sweaty happy bunch that sort of shared each other’s space but respected it at the same time. Nowdays, these kids do not budge at all when you try to move next to them, and then they rudely look at you like YOU’RE the ahole! I mean, come on people, you’re in a club with several hundred others and we all have to give a little bit, let’s make this happen, etc but geez, no, not these kids! WTF??

After a while I roll back to the suite, and I think it was at this point Frank wanted to gambol, so we headed out – for some reason, to PH. We hoof it there, I try to buy in with black Cosmo chips, but they won’t let me do that at the table. I go to the cashier, get the chip changed, go back, buy in, and Frank wants to leave lol. So I cash out exactly even.

I think someone was texting with PT and there was talk of gamboling with him, so we headed to the suite, only to find a small crisis involving one of the girls (bit much to drink). We managed to avert that crisis, but at this point my feet were killing me, I had had enough to drink and was done for the night. Of course, looking back on it now, I wish I had rallied more than I did, but that’s hindsight.

I was pretty damn buzzed from fireball shots and bourbon and a few other things you can't get at the liquor store
so I don't remember much about gamboling in PH
but I do remember walking in to PH with Pete on your left and me on your right and noticing all the double take glances you were getting:hmmm::haha::banana:

Happy to see you are finishing up your report. I met a guy last spring in Vegas who dresses. Great guy and we had a blast playing VP. I was surprised how frequently he was approached by supposedly "straight" men who thought he was working. He said it happened all the time. He used the name Lola when dressed and the two of us would sing it whenever someone joined us at the bar who clearly had no idea he wasn't a woman. We had a blast and met again the following night for more VP and laughs.

Olivia, great to have you finish the TR, brings back great memories.
One detail about the Free bet BJ game. You had a special strategy card that is different from standard BJ strategy, and on one of my 2000 bets it saved the day.

What a great report. I think it is awesome that you are so comfortable with that part of yourself. So many people could learn from that. Would be great to meet you and others on here.

Ouch! That beer can stuff is a rough way to go.
The Cosmo needs a smoke shop.
If they charged $30 bongs for that are regularly $10 (in a non-vegas strip smoke shop) they'd make more money than they make from gaming.
Anyone who smokes LOVES to smoke on one of those balcony's (or in your case, private pool!!!)
