Currently a very low-roller VP and BJ player with TR Gold and Stations Gold that's looking to play smarter. Have the TR Visa to keep the reward points valid. However, tier credits expire every year. I only get to Vegas every 2-3 years and looking at possibility of changing or adding rewards program. The idea is to start filling in with a trip or two to Biloxi per year. The goal is primarily room comps, but F&B would work, too. Depending on what I learn, I may stick with TR.

I have done some online research and suspect that some of my questions may be answered if I actually joined the programs online, but I don't want to miss out on any new player incentives such as those offered by Golden Nugget. Although I love Stations, I am abandoning them because they have no properties outside Nevada. I have eliminated Marquee, because like Stations, credits renew on six month basis and their reciprocal program sounds like a mess. This leaves MGM, Golden Nugget, and Boyd.

    1. With the idea of playing MS and NV for comps, what's the take on MLife, GN 24k, and BConnected?

    2. Also, are comps market specific? Will playing in MS only generate offers there?

    3. I will be staying at a CET property in Las Vegas for four days over Easter weekend. Should the long term plan may affect my play this trip? If so. how?

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

Mlife - Market specific unless you're a High Roller. I've played at the beau rivage 3+ years ago & still get offer from them(discounts) but it did nothing for my vegas offers. As far as gn have no expertise on that. Bconnected will send rooms to other properties but your main offers will come from the places you visited, unless again you're a high rolller.

    In the short ..Mainly Yes.

2-3 years to stay on radar is a long time. Most casinos will lose interest in a player by this time. Being a very low roller (theos would help greatly on determinig this) I can't see a casino keeping offers open that long for a low player only visiting every 2-3 years.

@ducc thank you for the detailed reply. I now understand that comps are from marketing based on play at a casino. I was able to eliminate GN because each property's 24k program is independent. Boyd looks like they are aggressively cutting back. I'll just stick with TR and see how things go in MS.

Boyd has recently turned quite hateful towards non-locals. they walked it back a little on promotions, but the room offers have tanked. I hope they have a lot of empty rooms to sit on.
