I just realized a possible reason why room credit eliminates charges rather than crediting you back... Because if it shows up as a charge and then the credit is applied then you'll earn tier points on your membership level for the money spent... By eliminating the charge completely you won't earn tier points on it. Which is fair but if that's the case they need a better, more updated system.

Out of curiosity, how recent was your trip to MGM? I’m going in March on this offer and the restaurants on the list in your picture don’t exactly match what’s listed in their restaurant lineup on their website.

I went Jan 26-28 2018. Just last weekend. Pretty recent. But yeah the list of accepted restaurants and exclusions on that flyer pretty much name all the shops in MGM that i saw when i was there. Although there seemed to be an Asian Restaurant in the food court area that just opened and had it's grand opening. While we passed it looks like the entire working staff were taking a group picture before the opening.

Oh FYI, I just finished up a trip last week celebrating my mom's bday with family and booked four rooms all under my name using this promo... It totally worked.. Each room got $150 in room credit. Upon check in i just added a family members name who was staying in that room so they can make charges towards the room

I assume many of you are mlife gold+, probably plat. Doesn't it seem kind of weird to book a room where you get 200 credit but the room costs more than the savings your mlife would give you. Unless I'm missing something. :/

Not everyone gambles enough to get offers better than this.

I just became mlife gold for the first time during my last trip. And my tier rate still can't beat this rate (not even counting the room credit)... Having said that, since i'm new to the Gold tier i still haven't gotten any special offers yet.. That might beat it... But then again I've seen free rooms being offered to some of my friends and it's usually off season middle of the week free rooms... That's just not ideal for me.

Does anyone have any idea of when they would likely put the next royal caribbean offer up to cover May? Would it likely be the end of march or might it appear sooner?

I'm wondering, too, and hoping it'll be good for August.

Usually they do extend it, sometimes they wait to do it after it ends...

I just returned from Bellagio. Make sure you print out your confirmation with $200 room credit. We had 3 rooms booked and none of them showed the credit. Fortunately
the front desk staff took care of it. Used the credit with no problems, we did have to go down prior to check out to have total adjusted.

This happened to me last year. I reserved a room but decided to change my room type and that was what caused my room credit to disappear... according to the front desk.

Now if i want to change anything on my reservation i'd rather just cancel it and start a new reservation over again. I suggest you guys do the same... Unless of course you booked it at a cheap rate and the room rate increased since then.
