    Hi all,

Just joined this forum started looking at and trying to understand how comps works for mlife. I thought I share what I know and maybe we can start discussing what we know and what we don't .

I just called today and asked what my theoretical loss is from my previous trip staying at Park MGM for three nights. The casino host said it's $59.

With that said. Here's what my comps offer have been since the last trip. Im booked for three free nights at Park MGM next weekend plus $50 free play and $50 resort credits. Im also booked for another trip in February for three weekend nights at Aria with $50 Free play and $50 resort credits. However, I do not have a casino host assigned for me. Im also showing my previous win/loss statement of 2018.

Does it sound pretty accurate with the comps im getting based on the $59 theo?

Is your win loss statement for the whole year ? And how many trips/ days ? I’m loyal to mlife and my offers are slightly better , 75-100$ freeplay and 50-100 resort credit and 4 days free any time any resort .. I do about the same coin in for the year but typically 3 trips of Friday night to Sunday morning

That is for the entire year of 2018. I usually do about 2-3 trips each 3 days 4 nights. I've only started playing exclusively with mlife in the most recent trip in June of 2018. Im also holding platinum for CET. It just seems like based on what im told of my theo loss amount, it doesnt add up to the comps. I'm hoping to try to reach Platinum at Mlife when I arrive next week.

I know the typical math to figure out Theo Yet it never seems to make sense when I’m asking for back end comps .. trips where I feel like I put in more play than usual I get nothing backend yet I’ve had other trips where the host on duty will comp everything and I feel like I didn’t gamble as much .. I have found that talking to an actual host is better then just asking at the mlife desk

with my financial situation now, I am comfortable with playing more to reach either Platinum at Mlife or Diamond at CET. however, I cant decide on which to focus on or which would be "easier". for CET im still about 8,000 points from Diamond. For Mlife, im about 14,000 from Platinum.

    mLife or CET?

IMHO, there are a number of factors in Play here:

1)Where do you like to play/stay

2)What level do you think you're going to play at

3)What kind of comps do you enjoy?

I like playing at mlife resorts more. However the comps seem to be much better at CET.

First off, welcome @David Mach !

Are you saying it doesn't add up because you feel like you are getting more comps than what your Theo should get you?

If so, this has been my boat for years with mlife. I find upfront comps can be much, MUCH looser on theo generosity than backend. It could be a teaser, or like me ...it might keep going for you. My two cents, enjoy it and run with it!

On tier, the big perks you'll get from Mlife will come from your gaming offer, not Mlife tiers.

Cosmo's Identity? ABSOLUTELY tier matters there. Rockstar program. CET also has solid tier perks as you get higher. (I'm not a CET gal, but still.)

Platinum with Mlife? Line pass, taxi cuts multiplier for points, but pretty anticlimactic perks-wise for a tier that is the top tier under "invitational/noir". (Except sometimes a cruise, which "doesn't float my boat". :D )

You still can get great goodies, just realize Mlife tier perks have a little less pizzazz than some of the other tier programs. Mlife's goodies are almost completely gaming-based.

But, I still feel I get way more with MLIFE than when I flirted with CET...it's just you won't get much guaranteed in writing for tier alone with Mlife. (I haven't paid a resort fee with Mlife for years..it's just not guaranteed by tier.)

But, it's always fun to hit Platinum--- just don't chase Mlife platinum like a golden carrot...Mlife tiers are shinier than they are valuable. The gaming offers are the golden goose at Mlife.

Good luck, and enjoy the great offers...and may they keep coming!

Thanks multifarious5. Yea I feel that there different perks to each program. I'm excited to try out the cosmo identitu program.

As for either sticking with mlife exclusively or CET, I think I'll go with CET because their comps are more generous and more transparent.
