Just in Atlantis this week, rumors all over that Mlife is looking to buy the property. Anyone else hear any news about this. People are saying that the Marriott rewards hook up is hurting the Atlantis bottom line and that's why the current owners are looking to sell.

You're talking about Atlantis in the Bahamas, right?

I did not know Atlantis had a tie in with Marriott now. We have been there a few times - but not for several years. Atlantis has an ongoing connection with Caesars that gives Caesars Rewards members room deals. Presumably that would quickly stop if they were bought by MGM.

It would be interesting if Mlife does pick it up. The Marriott association is limited to the hotel room, no points are earned for any other spend (which is significant since their food is way over inflated).

We stayed in December through Caesars. I won a bit (husband lost) and the rooms were comped so it was a reasonable cost for the vacation. I don't know that we would go back as the Hyatt's Baha Mar is new and shiny. Getting points on food/activities through MLife could change my mind.

Rumor would be my best guess. With little to no truth.

Rumors in this business go round and round. Probably the most common one is Mlife buying Cosmo. LOL!

Baha Mar is much nicer and a better casino in my opinion. Wish the players club was better and that they were affiliated with a vegas casino.

Hi RichL58, thanks for the info, just went to Boyd and saw the benefits for Baha Mar. Sapphire actually gets 2 free nights which is really good.
Does Boyd tier match any cards.
