We stayed at the Mirage from July 10-July 13. We couldn't get into our room until 2:30pm, but the $20.00 trick worked for each couple. We had wonderful deluxe tower rooms on the 25th floor. We ate at Mon Ami Gabi Monday night. Tuesday we rented a car and drove to Red Rock Casino. It is beautiful and hubby won his first ever progressive (although it was a small one). We saw Big Elvis as well. Great as usual. We went downtown Tuesday night. It was quite busy, won a jackpot at the Freemont. Saw a guy win $3000.00 on a dollar slot after putting in only $1.00. He looked stunned! Wednesday we drove to Green Valley Ranch. Wed night saw the Fab Four and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate at Montel Carlo Brew Pub afterwards. Went to the pool every AM and had coffee. Hated to come home, especially after finding out 19 year old son had a party and someone punched a hole through the bathroom door........... http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2104201571
Great photos.... love to know what you thought of the changes in the casino and restaurant area (if you've stayed there before). Too bad about the hole in the door.... sounds like JR. and freinds will need to tap their bank account. Testosterone, teenagers and liquor never has been a good mix...well, maybe sometimes....if you're the teenager
For sure, the bank account will be tapped. He's lost our trust for quite a while, we are finding more things than the hole in the door. Still in some what of a shock about the whole thing.....As far as the changes in the Mirage-I don't like it. I miss the Ava lounge the most and the tropical walkway is reduced to a short path. They are adding another restaraunt. I think they have enough of those. The moving walkway outside never worked the whole time we were there, not sure why. Everything else was just fine. Newcomers won't know the difference, but its hard when you remember how it used to be......
Very nice pics...the only time I see jackpots lol. Sucks about the son, but it is bound to happen I guess. (Been there, done that). Well, maybe not that bad, but I am a girl, so that is different. Well, at least you had a good time, too. Gotta love Vegas!
Sarmcl: The drive to Red Rock was 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. We took Charleston all the way there. Lots of stop lights, but an easy route. Traffic was awful in Vegas. Took some wrong turns a couple of times and circled around the same route.
