For anyone who had stayed at Mirage (hint, hint, you Geogran), I was wondering if the standard Mirage suite had the pop up TV at the foot of the bed, or if this is only in the Tower Suite.

I know the tower suite will be nicer, but I'm just curious about the distance from the TV to the bed in the standard suite. I'm hoping it also has the pop-up TV at the foot of the bed, but can't tell from pics/viritual tours.

Ps do the tower suites only come in green, or are there other color themes?

Thanks!

It's been awhile since we stayed in a 'Mirage' suite but I do recall there is a pop up tv at the foot of the bed :D - the 'suite' is a nice size (about 800 sq feet) note the bedroom area and living area are combined, nice entryway with wet bar, and two full baths. (Found an older utube of this suite, but video is kind of dark).

Colors escape me but I've always thought the Tower suites are tastefully done and easy on the eye. Here are a few Tower suite pics from our last stay, I think. DH says the dining chairs are chartreuse (his description) but I seem to remember other colors as well (although I spend very little time in the room ).

Hope this helps - if I've misstated anything regarding the 'Mirage' suite, hope others will chime in!!

Also @Multifarious5, test the pop up tv before you settle in, on a very few occasions it was stuck in the 'up' mode, really didn't bother us. And if you don't point the bedroom remote just right, it will change or turn on/off the other tv in the living room - I could drive my DH crazy doing this:evillaugh::evillaugh:. OK that's lame and boring.

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much Geogran! I am getting antsy for my very-far-away March trip and am doing research even before I have my offers....so this could all be in vain.

I am not quite at your play level, so, while I'd ADORE the tower suite, there is one a hair below, just a standard suite...more like a big room versus a one bedroom. That was the one I was wondering about the pop up TV, BUT after your gorgeous pics, I'm really leaning towards this room if it's not a huge amount on upgrades on a comp. Last time my Mirage offer said a comped suite, but I figured it was for the baby suite. Hopefully I get the same offer for spring and will call :) (Those two rooms are pretty close on cost, so, while I never pay for upgrades, this one might be worth it if not too spendy.)

Your pics are a HUGE help. I love, love, love dark wood, the one thing I wasn't sure of was the green ceiling, as it's super bright in one professional photos, but looks great in yours. (More of a question for DH than my personal concern, he's very low maintenance and would never, ever fuss, but I know if things are too bright, he's less of a fan.)

All in all, that is a GORGEOUS room, and...combined with your accolades of Mirage (plus it was my first homebase, I just had only tried the deluxe room) if my offers are like last year, I think this will absolutely be one of our Mlife stays for our next trip.

Thank you sooooooooooooooooo much, and enjoy your next trip, I am so excited for you!!!!!!!!

P.S. I'll definitely try the TV, that's a great tip!!!! And this is the baby suite

I have stayed in both, they both have the pop up TV at the foot of the bed and it is true if you don't have the remote pointed just right you operate the other TV, lol. The mirage suite is definitely nice compared to the standard rooms there, which are still not bad. If you can i would upgrade to the tower suite, it has a much nicer wet bar with a seating that comes in very handy if you like to make your own drinks! You really cant go wrong, you will enjoy it either one, hopefully it works out for you this spring!

Thanks so

Thanks a million Greg!!!!! The pop up TV makes a difference (more for hubby, not me), so this was invaluable feedback. Fingers crossed my offers cover one of those rooms. And yes, if it's just the standard suite, I'm seriously considering breaking my golden rule on paying for an upgrade!

I'm actually really excited now about Mirage as I've always loved the atrium and giant fish tank, and while I love the other end of the strip, we need to shake things up and mirage is calling my name. :blowkiss::blowkiss::p
