I have been comped 3 nights here at the end of March. What room choice would be the best I could hope for? It's a Wednesday - Friday.

Not really enough information to answer your question. What kind of player are you? Avg bet? Avg play per day? What games do you primarily play?

I don't have one . Just booked over phone.> that's why I'm asking. No idea what kind of room to request when we get there.

You should have them email you an itinerary. It will generally tell you what kind of room you are booked in unless you are assigned a run of the house room. If you are assigned a particular room, then you can actually have a better idea of what your upgrade offers are.

    The heirachy of room are:

    Resort King
    Resort Queen
    Pool VieW room
    Volcano View room
    Resort Tower King

After that you get into the suites. Hopefully you can get into a Resort Tower King and ask for a complimentary upgrade.

Resort tower king on the 24/25th floors are my favorite rooms there. Larger bathroom and your own elevator for those floors.

The tower rooms are a nice step up - you definitely want to play for one of those at least

I've used the Kansas City Ameristar for this offer at the preferred level. One year in April we received the King Resort room with the strip view, last year in mid-December we were given the Tower Resort King room. The main advantage was separate shower from tub.

Remember to take your Ameristar players card because they will upgrade your MLife card to a matching level & you have the freeplay & resort credit from Ameristar also.

You can use the the invited guest line to the left of regular check in.

You can also see the itinerary if you log into MLife.com

    Good luck!
