I am heading to Vegas on Nov. 8th staying at Venetian. I am a big Beatles fan and last time in Vegas the Love show was dark so this time I am taking my wife to the show. I would like dinner before hand, but have never even stepped foot in the Mirage. I am a somewhat Casino/Restaurant snob and usually only
stay/dine at Venetian, Bellagio, Wynn. Is there a nice restaurant in Mirage. I saw that Heritage Steak is open and would love a review if anyone has gone. We like all type of food and price is really an issue. Thanks.

When we stayed at the Mirage Chrstmas 2011 we found ourselves going to the BLT Burger every night. We liked their food and we also liked the atmosphere. If you go there and dont like plz dont cuss me. lol

Heritage Steak House. It opened in August and just walking by, it looks classy.

I don't like BLT Burger because of several incidents which caused me problems both physical (reaction to food) and confrontational with lousy staff. JMO

California Pizza Kitchen. A fairly decent thin crust pizza, salads and pasta dishes.

Carnegie Deli - I find the meats here to be bland compared to the original. Service can be at a snail's pace. The sandwiches are huge. Ask for two extra slices of bread and put half of the meat on them for later or just share one. OTOH, for morning coffee, juice and bagel, the takeout is a plus!

STACK - I had a nice steak the first time I went here. Lobster tacos app is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Second time was a total disaster. It was very crowded, loud and they totally hosed my order.

Onda, Fin, Japonais, Samba - I never ate in any of these. Onda is high end Italian. It has a very good lounge. Fin is Chinese seafood. Japonais is Japanese. Samba is a Brazilian meat place. Gets weak reviews but is always crowded so go figure.

Cravings - I may be in the minority, but except for breakfast, I would sooner dine from the dumpster out back than eat here. Maybe if you got there just at changeover it would be different.

Don't forget that the Forum Shops are also very close by and feature several decent restaurants.

We ate in Onda on our last trip out this past May. We loved it. Good atmosphere, attentive staff, and great food.
