Can anyone tell me what the minimum bet at the craps tables are at the Mirage. Asking for a friend
Saw $10 on a Saturday during the day last weekend. Cannot comment on weekend evenings.
Thanks. Actually looking for weekdays, though.
And I really am asking for a friend. We're planning on doing a firemen trip for a couple nights and one of my buddies wants $5 tables, but I only have free night offers from the Aria, Mirage, NYNY, Monte Carlo and the Venetian. They don't want to spend too much on a room, and the Mirage is $79 those days. Venetian and Aria are too much money for them, and the Monte Carlo is undergoing refurb, right?.
What about the NYNY? Anyone, help a brothah out...
$10 at Mirage is lowest I remember seeing.
I will let you know tomorrow when I get there if I see any lower.
Thank you much!
$10 is what I have seen at Mirage on a weekday morning. I usually go across the street to Harrah's for $5 tables on weekdays.
Yeah, I'm not sure I've ever seen it below $10.
If you want to stay Mlife for $5 craps, stay down towards NYNY/Excalibur. Excalibur had it on a Sat afternoon the last time I was there.
Excal and Luxor should have $5 tables during the day even on weekends, and into early evening during the week.
If you can get a comp room at Aria and Mirage via an MLife offer, you should be able to get one at Luxor or Excal if you want to.
Sounds like you have a group of guys who don't want to spend a lot on rooms and want cheap tables.
The answer lies on Fremont Street. Cab/Uber to the Strip when you want to partake in anything on LV Blvd.
NYNY has always had higher limits than surrounding properties, I doubt they offer five dollar anything. My last stay at Cosmo the craps table never fell below fifteen dollars. If you are low rolling on the Strip you can always try Casino Royale, they often have a five dollar craps table that is always packed. Hooters is another option on the South end. A quick cab or free shuttle gets you to Orleans or Gold Coast. Or, like the previous post, the obvious choice is Downtown. Splitting a cab five ways is a cheap way to get that five dollar minimum.
I've seen $5 at Mirage but it is almost as rare as hens teeth. Only time I've seen it is for a couple hours around lunch time and it certainly doesn't happen every day or even every trip. It's $10 most of the time and $15 when things get busy.
That said, Mirage is convenient to both Casino Royale and Harrahs which both have $5 craps most of the time.
Harrahs didn't have $5 craps that much when I was there last weekend. They changed the table by the door to carneval court, it's almost always $10 now.
Thanks for the info, guys! Turns out the decision will be the Mirage after all. We have 10 guys with some variety in what we're after. And no offense to anyone out there, but we're all pretty much physical fitness kind of guys and the one consensus every one of us wants is to be at a property with fewer smokers. So that means downtown is out, as well as some of the least expensive properties on the strip. It may be $10 craps, but the Mirage sounds like the best compromise.
Don't rule out downtown yet! Downtown Grand has very few smokers...mostly because thery have very few players but it still counts!
It never feels smokey in there.
Played at Mirage last week during the day, and it was $10 minimums. Harrahs had $5 minimums in the morning until about 11 am.
The Mirage has $10 most of the time and does have $5 some times, like others said early morning and close to lunch times. Harrah's $5 tables are usually early morning and sometimes afternoon as well. If they are opening up a new table and its in the evening, most of the time for the first couple of hours it's usually $5. That is what I have experienced in January and this past June. Have fun and win big!! Best of Luck!
$10. during daytime. But $50. on Friday night.
I guess I'm the only one that hasn't seen a $5 craps table at the Mirage. I remember years back when they put the bubble craps table about 5-10 feet away from the live craps tables. It was entertaining to hear the dealers grumble about them. Grumbling that I support, btw. Are they still right there? I didn't check last time I was there.
not sure if it is right there but there was a bubble craps game on a main aisle in June. If you're coming from the hotel elevators/shops area, the big path splits into two. The right path goes by tables and high limit. The bubble craps is on the left path. It's very obvious if you stand at the Still/Samba/whatever the other restaurant is htere and look out onto the floor.
TI next door to Mirage also has $5 craps on occasion. Mirage almost always has at least 1 $10 table and I've never not seen at least 1 $15 table on weekend nights.
Recommend that you hit up the Heritage steakhouse there, it's excellent.
