Great report. I enjoyed all the photos and video clips too, except that I wished the one leaving on the plane was arriving on the plane. Next time. Thanks.

I didn't have a window seat on the way in. But here is one from November where I made a vide of the landing.

Really nice TR. The Mirage used to be our home base for years and we haven't stayed there for probably 10 years so it was cool to see some of your photos. We used to get a Tower King on the 25th and 26th floor just because they have larger bathrooms. Double sinks and a separate shower. I also noticed that it looks like they took a few palm trees out around the pool because years ago you could hardly see Caesar's from the view looking south (at the pool). I also see people still line up in the AM for the pool.....I guess that means the Mirage pool is still one of the coolest pools on the strip.:nworthy:

Thanks again....I really enjoyed the read and all of the photos! ~ Dino

So, out of nowhere, the wife asks about my solo trip and had I planned it yet. So, to me that was the green light, and we figured I should book it while I have offers with Free rooms. So, based on comp night availability my solo trip will be 9/16-9/20. My center strip area choices were Mirage, Vdara, MGM or The Park if I wanted totally free room, Bellagio and Aria were like $218 and $145 total plus fees. So, I decided on Vdara since I had never stayed there before.

Vdara is very nice and quiet, but a little boring... good thing there's Aria/Bellagio/Cosmo within spitting distance!!!

I'll be there in June for WSOP, it's a good place to rest well.

Vdara is nice. We have stayed there before and really enjoyed it. Short walk to Aria, Cosmo and Bellagio for gambling and food. Then when you get back to your room its nice and quiet with no smoke to pollute your nostrils. Its the best of both worlds. You will love it!

Seems like it will be nice. I am not in the room much and it is somewhere I have never stayed before, so I figured I would give it a try.

I also just read the whole thing from start to finish. Definitely one of the more comprehensive reports I’ve come across.
