    Has anyone seen this show?

The reviews on google are good, but I always trust the people on here to tell it like it is. LOL

Thinking of purchasing the VIP seats on our future trip to Vegas.

BTW, any other downtown shows that are worth seeing?

    Thanks in advance

I have seen it. I thought it was pretty good. It is a mix of comedy and magic. I thought his comedy was pretty dry but he kept swinging. His magic and fan interaction was pretty good. He called me up on stage and I clearly looked like I did not want to go up in front of people. After the show he made a point to find me and thank me for playing along. He felt bad so offered to buy me a drink or give me a free shirt. I took the shirt lol

If I remember correctly the VIP seats are like 4 chairs around a table? and the seats in the back are just general admission. I had general admission and had no complaints other than sitting next to a person I did not know.

Now, I will definitely consider this show. 2/1 is an even better deal, in my opinion. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. Wasn't really interested in this show. I like the Big Elvis show at Harrah's. Hoping he will be there, when we are there in Jan. :)

Keep your eyes open for folks handing out free or greatly reduced tickets just outside on the street near the time of the show. After the porn slappers, we tend to just not take anything. But this could be a good last minute deal. Also, one show at the Queens often will let you do another cheaply with the first show ticket. I did like Elvis two years ago. I tend not to plan these shows and just try last minute. Sometimes, on a slow night, you can get a reduced ticket right at the ticket booth. Just ask.

    It's an okay show.
They only use a small amount of the theater for his show...the rest is empty space.
The bar in the theater is nice, get your drinks before the show if your ticket included the free drink.

    Hammer tries really hard.
    He's very nice.
He takes photos and signs autographs outside the theater after the show.

    I agree with Dewey.
Free or greatly reduced price with coupons handed outside - if you wait until just before the show.

I saw the show last November. The show was nothing special. If you are into magic, you will find much better shows on the strip. The comedy part consists pretty much of making fun of people in the audience. In other words, unless you get free or reduced tickets I would not recommend the show.

I paid "full price" ($37), and thought it was still well worth it.
I laughed a lot! The show was only a little over an hour & I had my two drinks during the show.
Drinks alone would cost you nearly $37 for a comparable show on the strip... plus your show ticket would have been much higher as well.

I suppose it depends on the kind of humor one enjoys... Hammer is rapid-fire, very quick on his feet ad-lib humor... the magic bit is mostly his gimmick to have his audience interaction - which is where most of the truly funny humor comes into play.
The video that @mdm4sfest posted captures his style pretty well, although that is certainly not his 'best' bit (when comes to the magic).

Anyway - there's a 'Tix-4-Tonite' kiosk right at the NW entrance to 4-Queens, where you can almost always score 1/2 price tickets for this show...So, $18.50 for two drinks & an hour of laughs... I don't think one can find much better of a deal in Vegas.

Lots of audience participation, which you will get up front with VIP tickets. Otherwise, sit in the back. Personally, I enjoyed his show.

I have seen him twice, once VIP tickets with the adult kids at New Years Eve. Second time with hubby, general admission wit BOGO from ACG. I enjoyed it both times. Got picked on the first time but I am old and just rolled with the flow. The general adm. tickets are fine. Small theater. I thought he was funny and entertaining..

We really enjoyed his show. Got picked on him in the beginning and called up on stage with the VIP tickets my brother bought us. He is really funny. Get there early the videos they show before he starts are great!

We saw Big Elvis for the first time last month and throughly enjoyed his show and his sidekick.....what a personality and performer. We hope to see him again in January, if we book.

We also are hoping Big Elvis is there in Jan. He is awesome and we have seen him several times. Always a great show.
