    My Trip Report

It's time!!!! Staying at El Cortez in a vintage suite. If you've read my former post you know that we are on a limited bankroll and budget but the fun we are going to have is not restricted by those limitations!!

We have a few plans and a somethings already paid for. This includes tickets to the high roller ($39 for two from travel zoo), china lights ($17 for two from Groupon), Penn and Teller tickets ( buy one get one by calling the box office), and Mandalay Bay shark reef (my Vegas).

I'm posting from my phone so please excuse spelling and grammar errors.

Craps, VP, coupon runs, and fun to follow!!

Thanks guys!! I do have a little catching up to do. Our flight was with Frontier because of the price. While at the airport waiting to check in for the flight I get a text that the flight is delayed by five hours!! What a way to start the trip. Frontier gave us food vouchers to use at the airport while we waited for the flight. $15 each. We grabbed a burrito from Moes and it was delicious.

Delayed flights mean over priced drinks at the airport bar.

We finally board the plane and around 30 minutes into the flight they ask if there is a doctor or nurse on board. When we land we had to wait for EMT's to get the person with the medical emergency off of the plane. We finally got off of the plane and the fun begin!!

Bummer, sorry to hear about that delay. And $15 WHOLE dollars... that'll get ya a bottle of water and a pack of gum at the airport! Well, screw all that; you're there now, it's Friday.... GO!

Considering it's Frontier, those vouchers were half the flight's revenue. Lol. I'm shocked he got anything.

    Good luck @Crapsplaya!

If you could, please post some pictures of the room. I'm curious to see what they look like. I've only stayed at the Cabana Super Suites and they're nice.

Looking forward to the TR. Is the BOGO Penn & Teller deal an ongoing thing?

We just called the box office and asked if we could get a deal on tickets. I don't think it's a "official" promotion but the lady at the box office hooked us up!!

The room is old but that's vintage!! I'll try to get some pics to put up. It has plenty of room and a side room with a desk. Refrigerator and keurig with coffee daily is supplied.

I booked direct with El Cortez on their prime rib special offer. It was a discount on the room plus a voucher for one prime rib special. The special cost a whole 10.99!! We had that for supper last night and I was impressed. Very good.

Food was very good!! Gambling has been up and down. I haven't had any luck and I'm already down $100 after some VP and craps play. The missus has been on fire!! She is up almost $200. For us low rollers that's pretty good!

Getting ready to go meet Stu at MSS now. Hopefully some VP or craps porn will be coming soon!!

Met Smerrian at board head at MSS. Joe and his wife where there also. When we arrived Joe and his wife left to find something to eat and we sat with Stu and chatted for a bit. Stu treated us to dinner at 777. Thanks Stu!! I started out with the beer sampler. [IMG]

I had the Seared Tuna salad. It was delicious! [IMG]

We finished supper and headed for the craps tables. [IMG]

Played for a while up and down and then had a couple of decent shooters. In for $100 out for[IMG]

Tossed a red chip for the dealers and went to Cal for some ice cream. I didn't think to get a pic but it was good!!

Said goodbye to Stu and headed through the craziness that is Fremont street back to Cortez.

At Cortez now. Not sure how much more playing I'll do if any. All in all a good day and up a little. It was good to meet and spend some time with Stu!! Thanks Stu for taking the time!!

Vegas club site is just rubble. [IMG]

If I pay anymore tonight I'll try to update again.

I should have went to bed but what fun is that???

I don't normally play slots but I walked by this alladins fortune and it was caking my name. Put $5 in and hit this bonus.

Cashed out $30 and change. Took that to Ultimate X and turned it into $80. That's where the slide happened.

Bought in at craps and quickly lost $25. Switched to single deck blackjack at $5 minimum and lost another $50.

Down $48 for the trip at the moment. I think the missus is still up around $100. Getting a late night snack at evel pie. Man this pizza is good!!

They have it in nickels. Most machines are multi denominations offering 5, 10, 20, and 25 cent bets.

I ended up staying up WAY to late last night and lost at everything I tried to play. Down around $100 for the trip but today's a new day!!

I mentioned earlier a evel pizza run at 2 A.M. This place is right down the street from El Co headed toward Fremont. [IMG]

    Stuffed ram inside evel pizza.

Did I mention the pizza was good???

5.50 a slice and worth every penny at 2 A.M. when your drunk and hungry!
