I am currently Platinum with MGM from several trips per year to the Bellagio. We have recently started to go to the Cove at the Atlantis in the Bahamas, which is much closer. Apparently, the Atlantis will recognize the status of Total Rewards but not MGM. Other than taking the time to establish myself at the Atlantis, would there be any benefit in making a switch from MGM to Total Rewards properties?

Thanks but that is only for new players and for the Coral towers. I'm looking for overall benefits of MGM vs Total Rewards

Lots of thread on here covering that debate, do a search or just scroll thru the Comps forum.

To get any meaningful feedback, you need to provide more info such as gambling habits, what you look for in a property, etc. If you're accustomed to Bellagio in Vegas, Caesars is going to be the only TR property that's close, and that's still a step below Bellagio.

It's going to boil down to this: unless you are a very high level player (Noir with MLife), TR will provide more value than MLife does. Free rooms for lower level players, and perks like the Diamond lounges and diamond check in for mid level players.

The flip side is that the CET properties aren't as nice overall as the MGM ones. So it really comes down to what you prioritize.
