MGM/MyVegas hotels that allow smoking?

I’m generally a non-smoker, but the one time I indulge is smoking cigars while on vacation in Vegas. So I generally like the have the flexibility to book a smoking room, whether or not I end up taking advantage of it.

But I have read that many MGM hotels have gone entirely nonsmoking.

Does anyone know which hotels that offer MyVegas comps still either have rooms that allow smoking (like Wynn does) or rooms with balconies where you can smoke (like Cosmo)?

MGM Grand has a few high dollar rooms with a terrace, nothing you could book with MyVegas comp. Signature has rooms with balconies.

I’ve stayed at the Signature balcony rooms before, but it seems like they removed that MyVegas comp.
Why did this thread get moved from the MyVegas forum?

It's a question more about the room at hotels and not really MyVegas comps. You'll get more answers in this Strip section. :)

I remember someone commenting on here not too long ago that Bellagio still has one or two smoking floors, but how difficult it is to get one of those rooms or if you can even get them with a MyVegas comp, I don't know.

Not sure how much you've spent on MyVegas but I am not able to see the 2 night comps for Bellagio even though they do exist. It takes a certain amount of $ spent in game to unlock those.

    19th floor at Bellagio.

MB may still have a smoking floor.

You can't book either directly, it's up to availability when you arrive.

Yeah, it's Bellagio and certain designated Aria Sky Suites. Technically even the Signature doesn't count, as those balconies are officially non-smoking, although I have no idea how strictly they enforce it.

I was pitched a smoking sky suite at Aria a few weeks ago

As far as non smoking on a balcony, we run into this at condos/hotels in Florida. We just bring our own ashtrays and zip lock bags, smoke on the balcony, put the butts in a ziplock, the ashtrays in another ziplock, put them away when we leave (just in case) and have never had a problem. We cart the ziplocks to a public trash can. YMMV.
