Not sure what you mean? My host at Mlife gets me extra Free Play on top of my corporate offers.

I don't care much for FREEPLAY. It does matter for comps based on rooms/services. For example, I get SKY Suites at ARIA from my host, I don't get that offer in the mail/web. Second, I get extra perks like free limo ride to anywhere I want during my stay. They always offer me online/mail that I get 3 nights in suites/ 300 F&B, which none of it intrigue me. I never seen anything higher and my MLIFE is way over 800K points..

I have 4 different Mlife hosts, I've asked all of them about getting more free play, matching free play from other casinos or moving my resort credit into Free Play. All of them told me they are not allowed to touch Free Play. They can add resort credit, but the Free play is set at the corporate level. You must be a hellofva better player then most of us.

If you are pulling down sky suites hand over fist, just like my above reply, you are certainly a much better player then most. I'm speaking generically. Obviously some players can get hookers and blow sent up to their room as well. But for midrollers, I stand by what I have said.

As for the Limo, just like back end comps, that is obviously a host thing. I can book my corporate offers and ask them to send a limo for me and they usually can. So you can get a limo with or without booking that corporate offer as long as you use your host to actually book your stay.

I did contact my host . she said she will look into it , she doesnt understand the drop .
she said she will give $1000 free play based on my last trip ! but that still leaves the question
of what corporate is doing and why? I can gamble anywhere now ,vegas is not only game
around these days ! even new resort world casino in catskills offering better offers after one trip
$250 free play , $100 food and free suite

I have had the exact same thing happen with my offers. We have similar play. Last year over two trips (about 8 days total) I racked up just shy of 500k TCs. 18 months ago, my FB & FP amounts typically totaled about $800-1000, split roughly 50/50 (sometimes one or the other would be higher and it'd be about 60/40). Then as I said, last year I racked up 500k TCs over two trips spanning 8 days total. For reference, if I ignore my table game play (which TC wise is pretty minimal) and assume that all the TCs were earned on non-specialty machines at $3/point (definitely not the case, probably closer to about half my play), I did about 150k in coin in. I was well taken care of on my two trips as usual, I paid nothing but tips after receiving additional comps on the backend. However, my offers for FP/FB have dropped down to $200 each, and on some offers I've seen even less than that.

On the FB I don't care as much. I haven't had any trouble getting all my charges wiped on the back end in years. Of course it is nice to have a bigger chunk assured up front, so you don't have to worry about charges if you have a terrible gambling trip where you're wiped out early, or if you get sidetracked with non-gambling activities that don't allow you to play as much as normal, but I have amassed a pretty big EC balance that would handle that if I needed it. The big issue with the decline is the FP. My host is great and will get me whatever I want in terms of room type other than the villas (I stay at Mirage). He'll set me up with whatever else I need in terms of reservations, special requests, transportation, etc. The only thing he can't/won't do is bump up my FP. So that is what really hurts with these crappy offers. No matter what I'm not getting more than what my offers are for FP. My play has about doubled in the last two years, but my offers have been cut in half. That's a crazy adjustment. I always like having the FP, because I'll play on it the first night and take a swing in HL. That allows me to avoid digging myself a hole out of the gate (worst case is I lose the FP), and if I happen to hit something, it allows me to hit the ground running without even dipping into my BR. $200 in FP isn't going to cut it for that though. I've started seeding some other properties, but I'm a casino hopper, so it's hard for me to commit to the Cosmos and V/Ps of the world, because then I'm stuck playing at one property.

Definitely frustrating, but I understand that right now they don't need to give anything away. Also with the demand for rooms, the "comp value" of a room is becoming more of a hard cost than a soft cost. It used to be that the casinos looked at the rooms and figured comping a room to a gambler really only "costs" them the expense of housekeeping, because it was going to sit empty anyways. Now there is so much demand from people who are willing to pay out of pocket for that room, that the real cost to the casino is approaching the rack rate that they could rent it out for. Now that comped room "costs" them the expense of housekeeping AND the $100 they could have charged someone to rent it. It's cyclical though. The demand will eventually cool off again, the properties like Cosmo that are really pushing out good comps will tighten up, and other casinos who are tight now will loosen the purse strings again. It's all part of the Vegas circle of life....

Likewise. We have not been to Vegas since August 2015. This was our first trip where we had an MLife card. We were very low rollers, and stayed 7 nights in the Vdara.
We had 8 nights booked through mlife for this August in the mirage, just with the usual mlife members discount. Subsequently got a great deal through the mirage site (rather than mlife.com). 3 nights comp and $50 F&B. Couldn't believe our luck. Booked it straight away!

Thank you for posting this Stack. I have heard from many higher end players, and your level of play is pretty damn good, that they cant get more free play from their MGM hosts. Anything else, sure. But not Free Play.

I dont low roll, but my $10K coin on slots a day gets me a host. And I have yet to find any hosts, at any of the Mlife properties, that would tell me anything but "I can get you more RFB, but we are not allowed to touch Free Play"

I was shocked to see a couple of people post in here that their hosts hand out free play to them like it was candy. I wish all Mlife hosts were like that!

It could be property dependent as well. Mirage is a smaller property, and it's a great location with a great pool. Mandalay (which is where a previous poster mentioned their host gave them extra FP) is on the end of the strip, and is obviously trying to recover from the incident in October. In the past it seems like they've always offered a bit of a premium on FP based on my experience. I don't think you'll see that at Aria/Bellagio/Mirage based on their locations and popularity.

For the last 4-5 years my offers from Aria have been 3 nights SkySuites plus $350 to $500 RC.
I usually book the offers through my host who often adds on an extra $150/day F+B at Aria.
My upcoming trip for Memorial Day weekend is that offer plus staying two extra nights.

Got an offer about a week ago for 3 nights Tower Suite plus $250 F+B which is a step down.

I did short play them late last August when I got a virus and did not leave the room for two days. That could be a factor.
I have also seen the offers going into spring and summer be a little tighter than other seasons.

My one and only trip to Vegas was in Oct 2015. I gave 95% of my play to the hotel we were staying in (NYNY). On my MLife account I am getting 3 nights comped at lower end (Luxor, Park MGM and Excalibur), 2 nights at Mandalay Bay and 1 night at MGM...but no comp nights from NYNY. How does that work?

500,000 tier credits. That is some serious play. Seems totally stupid to only give $200 if FP. I think I would fire the person that made that decision. You could easily move to another casino and get some serious FP.

The Point is that they don't seem to want my play! There are many gambling options available now
on the east coast and more coming, but really enjoy going to vegas for overall experience! The Pools , golf and other sights ! A casino is a casino when you are inside ! i have never had such a low offer that it insults me . Their records show over $10 grand loss on my last trip , to give me $100 Free Play. $150
    resort credit is crazy

    Hey - I get Vegas.

Just find another casino that appreciates your donations. There are plenty in Vegas.

Cosmo. V/P. Wynn. For starters. Show them your points on Mlife and you should get some attention.

My current property specific offer from Aria:

    • Three Complimentary Nights with Tower Suites Accommodations and Private Check-In
    • $150 in M life Rewards Resort Credit for Food and Beverage
    • $150 in FREEPLAY®
My offers have similarly declined from when I was getting $350 resort credits and tower suites with better freeplay

I would make sure you do the surveys at the end of each trip and LET them know that the comps are crap and the room accommodations are retarded. And make sure you let them know you lossed plenty. Believe it or not they pay attention to these surveys.

Also, I wouldn’t return there very often. When they know they can get you in with a crap offer, they won’t increase it or change the terms. I would talk to a host to see what they could do if you really want to return there.

Wynn and Cosmo treats me better with exact same play and I would def try that as others have posted. Wynn and Cosmo are def better at backend comps than Aria for sure.

Also I dunno about you but I find slots impossibly tight at Aria, I can’t remember the last time I had a winning trip there. (Make sure you put that in the survey too)

Yup, I don't typically play quite that high, but I was fortunate to have two winning trips last year where I hit several handpays and nice hits throughout. Typically I would have played more like 250-300k in that time frame, but I was rolling on both trips so I played longer and higher than I usually would.

I really had anticipated a move to closer to the 4 figure FP range rather than the massive cut. With almost double the play and my offers being cut in half, it's the equivalent of a 75% reduction in FP.
