Can anyone recommend a Mexican restaurant mid Strip? I’m looking for an inexpensive dinner and my husband loves Mexican.
    Thank you for your help.

Cabo Wabo at Miracle Mile for cheesy, greasy border "cooking". Bit higher end is Javier's at Aria. Chayo at the Linq. For really cheap there's a Chipotle outside of Harrah's.
I can only recommend Javier's, if just for the stunning artwork.

I've been to Javiers and loved the ambiance. Food was good too!

Do yourself a favor and jump on the bus or take an Uber to Tacos El Gordo just past the Wynn/Encore. Cheap and delicious tacos!

I absolutely love Javier. But it's not exactly inexpensive. We usually end up with a bill of about $125 for an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 4-6 drinks. That $125 may include the tip.

It's not mid-strip but I would venture to Hussongs at the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay. They have as close to authentic Mexican I have found, being hispanic take my word for it. Plus they have an amazing happy hour (https://www.hussongslasvegas.com/eats-booze ). A close 2nd would be Gonzalez y Gonzalez, tucked away at the NY NY by the Zumanity theatre entrance.

We try to hit up Hussong's every trip (though not a mid-strip location), we enjoy it that much. Plus, it's hard to beat 45oz margaritas with to-go lids.

    Cabo Wabo is just meh.

Tequila Taqueria at Bally's is pretty good. They have a good happy hour and the table side guacamole is fantastic.

If you happen to get the chance to venture off-Strip I have a number of suggestions. Most of what you'll find along the Strip is: 1) Higher-end places that show off the cuisine side of "Mexican" or 2) Gringomarts.

    Avoid Cabo Wabo.
Carlos & Charlie & Tequila Taqueria are pretty good.
Haven't been to Gonzalez y Gonzalez in ages.

Another vote here for Javier's. It doesn't have to be expensive either if you skip drinks and appies. The salsa is outstanding and depending on how much you eat, you could probably share an entree.
