I collect memorabilia from time to time, mostly sports stuf and I always have a look around the memorabilia shops in Vegas.
Has anybody ever bought anything from the memorabilia shops in Vegas, I know looking at some places the prices for most pieces are way out of my range, although I suppose they would be considered an investment if you were buying them.

There is a quite a few of them, there is 2 in the Miracle Mile, 2 in Caesars, and there was a shop in Mirage but not sure if it's still there and there is a shop in Mandalay Bay which I discovered last year.
There are some really interested pieces, one of them in Miracle Mile has some movie memorabilia which includes original props used in films.

I think everything except rooms and booze in Vegas has a huge markup (memorabilia, pawn shops (thanks Pawn Stars :Þ ), hookers :wink2:...etc. I'm pretty sure that buying memorabilia in Vegas would find you paying the tourist markup. That appeared to be true the few times I've browsed those stores.
