Since I'm not much for photos, or keeping up on a daily basis - here's my attempt at a trip recap. As its recently become harder for me to travel due to some health issues, I decided to make the plane ride worth it and book for 2 weeks. Stayed 5 nights at PH, 4 nights at Plaza, and 5 nights at Harrah's. PH Stayed in a Hip Strip Suite. Fantastic view of the Bellagio fountain. The room itself was rather large and has a cavernous feeling living room, due to no windows in that area. There is a massive soaking tub in the middle of the bathroom that also boasts impressive strip/fountain views. Since I had RCs to burn, I ate at Gordon Ramsay Burger 3 times, as they are 1 of only 3 restaurants at PH that accept them at a 1:1 ratio. The other 2 are Pinup Pizza and Ringers. As other threads have noted, both Cafe Hollywood and Earl of Sandwich are now 2:1. One thing I will not about GR Burger is that the food is excellent, but I would recommend ordering your burger 1 above what you normally do. I like a good medium burger, but mine was practically mooing when I got it, so I ordered them medium well from then on. They denied me valet parking and said they were only accepting Seven Stars, so much for that benefit. Diamond/Plus/Elite priority lines are gone for pretty much everything except check-in, the cage, taxi stand and the CR desk. The hotel was PACKED almost my entire stay for Memorial Day weekend. Plaza/Downtown Stayed in one of their newer Luxe rooms. Solid room and the flooring is a great touch and makes the room feel that much cleaner. They were able to match an offer I had from a strip property and this was the first considerable amount of time I spent at the property. @PlazaPoker and his team are doing a great job and their podcast is very entertaining. Between Circa opening and Plaza getting rid of the bus station, I would expect downtown to change a lot for the better. Coming from the strip makes you appreciate how much better the gaming conditions are downtown. Ate with some friends at Hugo's Cellar and the food was amazing. Kudos to them for including salads and sides with the entrees. Circa is still tier matching, Diamond Elite got me to Legend. I was told Diamond and Diamond Plus get Maverick, which still gets you free parking. Had a $1,400 handpay at The D, my only one of the trip. Harrah's Stayed in a Valley Tower Suite. The room was spacious and nicely renovated. While Harrah's keys the elevators, it's not floor specific, meaning that if you scan a key, you can select any floor. There were an alarming amount of people throughout my stay asking people to swipe them up because they "forgot their key". I was also propositioned in the elevator by hookers a couple times. Ate at Gordon Ramsay Steak and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Service was excellent as well - although reservations can be difficult to get here in crowded weekends. Well worth the cost. Fulton Street Food Hall was a convenient place to grab a nice variety of food. Overall CET Thoughts The 4 drink vouchers for Diamond Plus and higher can be redeemed at almost all of the bars. Rather than letting them go to waste, they can be used to pickup bottled drinks - but each day's must be redeemed by 11:59PM that day. As mentioned above, watch for the restaurants that are charging 2:1 and 3:1 as that list is growing rapidly. There are no show benefits and both CR people that I spoke with made it sound like this was not coming back. The only option was 2 high roller tickets instead. Many venues were woefully understaffed. CET has converted nearly their entire front desk operations to kiosks.
