    My Trip Report

Had a fabulous trip to Vegas last week with 7 great friends. We stayed at Bellagio for three nights and then I went solo on Sunday at NYNY on a MyVEGAS Comp night. I’ll apologize in advance for the lack of pictures, but I did want to share some of my experiences.

Lodging - The Bellagio was great. King room in the Spa Tower on the 28th floor. Very nice! Had $200 resort credit thanks to the RC Crown & Anchor promo. Used that up buying some breakfasts for my friends at the pool (great breakfast burritos and warm cinnamon roll).
NYNY was a QQ room - no complaints- certainly not the Bellagio, but worth the free price.

Food - we ate at Lakeside at the Wynn....not impressed. Overpriced, even by Vegas standards. The lagoon show is cute, but not a show stopper. However, it couldn’t top our group experience from the night before. Friday night we went off the Strip to Piero’s....what a treat! The food was great - I had the penne with beef tips and it was fabulous! The restaurant was packed, but the service was top notch. Little did we know that beyond dinner, the bar would have entertainment - Sonny Charles and the one and only Pia Zadora!! upload_2018-5-12_20-48-29.jpeg
Friday, May 4, was also Pia’s Birthday! We had cake and champagne and closed the joint listening to Sonny’s velvet voice and enjoying Pia’s charm. She couldn’t have been nicer and more pleasant. And yes, that’s an Andy Warhol in the background!

Gambling - I came home with some of my bankroll, thanks mainly to chopping first in MGM’s $80 tourneys at 1100 and 7pm on Sunday. Nothing like winning late! About $800 profit between the two tourneys and was dealt my first ever Royal Flush- hand JQd, flop AKd4s, turn 10d, river Ac...and I got paid on my river bet!!! Other than that, we had a nice roll at the Bellagio Friday after dinner. Hit the All Tall and left up $400. Had a nice purple chip High Card Flush session at Bellagio as well. Other than that, couldn’t do anything. I dabbled with the slots....lost a majority of my bankroll there. Had a nice $180 WOF $1 hit at NYNY, but that’s all.

Odds and Ends - lost all my Kentucky Derby bets. Hit a small parlay on Sunday for $40.

One final note which most of the veterans probably know - when I checked out of the Bellagio, I made sure all my resort credit was used up. Also used up most of my express comps. When I checked out of NYNY, the front desk told me to check with the MLife desk as I had Casino Comps to use. My entire bill (except for $8 in tips) was credited! I didn’t gamble that much at NYNY, so I was pleasantly surprised. I wish I would have checked as well at Bellagio. Lesson learned - always check with the MLife desk for comps!!!

That’s all, folks! Scheming up my next reason to return....good luck to all!

She showed her scene with Frank Drebin in Naked Gun 33 1/3....classic! I believe she’s there on weekends and it’s worth it!
