We have been there numerous times with 2-3-4 people but will be going back soon with 6. Does anyone know if they recall seeing parties of 6 or so ON THE PATIO?

They have large rooms that can seat many. On the patio, we have done 6 before. Can not remember if it was a regular table that usually has 4 people and they added chairs, or was it actually set as 6 to start with. The round tables are larger than the square 4 tops.

They were setting up for a party of 8 when I was there in fall. Just be sure you tell them you want the patio when you make your reservation.

We ran into this issue last time we went. We had a party of 8 and wanted to sit on the patio. We made a reservation online and we followed that up with a call to the restaurant. We spoke to the manager inside the restaurant the day before our reservation and this is what we were told:

-They do not guarantee patio seating, even if you call ahead and make a reservation.
-They do not have large tables on the patio, so they squeeze a couple table together and add chairs, so it may be awkward
-She tried to encourage us to sit inside because it was better for large parties

We ended up cancelling the reservation because we didn't want to take a chance of not getting the patio. The person who's birthday it was had no interest in sitting inside the restaurant.

I get it. But this of course GUARENTEED they did not eat on the patio. I understand, you have to make choices.

FYI - different times of the day give totally different results. Eating well after lunch crowd and before dinner crowd opens up lots of options.

True! The time of reservation matters and we were told that right when they begin seating for dinner is the best time to get the patio.

We are looking at the same problem. We have a group of 14. They told me that the chances of our getting adjacent tables is unlikely. Now we have to decide if we would be ok with eating inside where we can have a set up for all 14. Decisions, decisions.

Sitting inside of Mon Ami is like watching KISS without the explosions....

We did six once at a single patio table. It was a really tight fit, and you had to keep your elbows in!

If you go at a time when it's not real busy you might be able to get two adjacent tables pushed together. But it could be a fairly long wait to get two tables open up next to each other.

We'll probably end up getting three reservations, two for five people and one for four people, and hope we can get somewhat close to one another.
